Chargers final injury report: TE Gerald Everett ruled out vs. Packers

The Chargers will be without their starting tight end.

Safety JT Woods is also out with an illness. Woods has yet to play since Week 3.

Wide receivers Keenan Allen and Jalen Guyton and running back Isaiah Spiller are questionable.

Chargers’ causes for concern vs. Packers

Here’s why you should be worried about the Chargers dropping to 4-6.

At 4-5, the Chargers have fallen off the picture for the AFC playoff bracket. A win against the Packers on Sunday could put them back into the thick of things, but LA’s loss against the Lions reminded fans that the team has lingering issues they just can’t find a fix for.

Here’s why you should be worried about Los Angeles dropping to 4-6.

Chargers WR Keenan Allen dealing with AC joint sprain, still expected to play vs. Packers

The veteran wideout is expected to play this Sunday.

Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen is dealing with an AC joint sprain in his left shoulder, but he is still expected to play this weekend against the Packers.

Allen missed Wednesday’s practice but was a limited participant on Thursday.

Allen sustained the injury in the second half of the loss to the Lions. He left for the locker room to be evaluated but returned and logged his second touchdown of the game.

Allen finished the game with 11 catches for 175 yards and two scores.

Allen has the same injury on his right shoulder that occurred back in his rookie that he never got surgery on.

Allen has been nothing short of outstanding in his 11th season, as he is up to 73 catches, 895 yards and six touchdowns and his 10,000 career receiving yards under his belt.

4 Packers players to watch vs. Chargers

The Packers have a couple of standout players on offense and defense.

The Chargers and Packers face off on Sunday as Los Angeles looks to bounce back from their loss to the Lions and get back into the playoff mix.

While Green Bay might be 3-6, they have some players that could pose a challenge for the Bolts.

Chargers Week 11 injury report: Who practiced, who didn’t on Wednesday?

Keenan Allen was among the five non-participants.

The Chargers had their first practice in preparation for Sunday’s game against the Packers on Thursday.

Los Angeles had five non-participants: Keenan Allen (shoulder), Gerald Everett (back), Sebastian Joseph-Day (knee), Khalil Mack (rest) and Donald Parham (hip).

Brandon Staley said he’s hopeful Allen will play this week. He is dealing with the left shoulder issue that popped up in last weekend’s game against the Lions.

Staley considered Everett day to day with a back injury that he sustained in the first half against Detroit.

The statuses of Joseph-Day and Everett remain to be seen.

JT Woods was a limited participant. The window for Woods to be activated off of the NFI (non-football injury) list is open.
