Report: Chargers expected to be without WR Mike Williams vs. Raiders

The Chargers could also be without Keenan Allen.

The Chargers will likely be without wide receiver Mike Williams, who is dealing with a back injury, on Thursday night against the Raiders, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

There’s a chance that Los Angeles could also be without WR Keenan Allen, who has a hamstring injury. If Allen does play, he will be limited, per Schefter.

Running back Austin Ekeler, who was questionable, is expected to play.

With Williams out, the Bolts will roll with Tyron Johnson in his spot. Johnson is coming off an impressive outing, where he recorded six receptions for 55 yards and a touchdown.

This also means added opportunities for Jalen Guyton, K.J. Hill and possibly Joe Reed.

Chargers final injury report vs. Raiders: 2 out, 2 doubtful

The Los Angeles Chargers are a bit banged up.

The Los Angeles Chargers released their final injury report ahead of the Week 15 battle with the Las Vegas Raiders.

Here is a look at the report:

The Chargers will be without tackle Bryan Bulaga, who is out with a concussion that he sustained last Sunday. They will also be without linebacker Emeke Egbule (illness).

Two other players who might not play are linebacker Denzel Perryman (back) and safety Nasir Adderley (shoulder). If Adderley is out, Rayshawn Jenkins will move to free safety while Jahleel Addae starts at strong safety.

Los Angeles has four key players that are questionable, wide receivers Mike Williams (back), Keenan Allen (hamstring), running back Austin Ekeler (quad) and edge defender Uchenna Nwosu (shoulder).

Meanwhile, the Raiders will be missing a handful of defenders. Safety Johnathan Abram, cornerback Damon Arnette, edge defender Clelin Ferrell and linebacker Nicholas Morrow have been ruled out.

Chargers Injury Report: Estimated list of 12 players who would not have practiced

The Los Angeles Chargers have a short week.

It’s a short week for the Chargers, who are set to take on the Raiders on Thursday night, which is four days after their last game.

Even without practice on Monday, Los Angeles was still required to give an estimated injury report in order to have the required three.

Here is a look at the report, courtesy of the team’s official Twitter account:

Tackle Bryan Bulaga and guard Trai Turner both suffered head injuries in Sunday’s victory over the Falcons. Bulaga is in concussion protocol while Turner is not, per coach Anthony Lynn.

There were a few players that had to be taken off the field last weekend, including wide receivers Keenan Allen (hamstring), Mike Williams (back), tight end Hunter Henry (hip) and edge defender Uchenna Nwosu (back/shoulder).

This list does not mean they will miss time throughout the week. This report is more so about highlighting players who will possibly be limited or unable to practice based on their injury status entering the short week.

Chargers final injury report vs. Bills: CB Casey Hayward among 3 players out

The Los Angeles Chargers will be without three key defenders against the Buffalo Bills.

The Los Angeles Chargers released their final injury report ahead of the Week 12 battle with the Buffalo Bills.

Here is a look at the report:

OUT

CB Casey Hayward

DE Melvin Ingram

DE Uchenna Nwosu

QUESTIONABLE

RB Kalen Ballage

Facing a dominant Bills offense, it doesn’t help that the Chargers will be without Hayward, Ingram and Nwosu.

With Hayward out, Tevaughn Campbell will likely get extended reps on the outside. Meanwhile, Los Angeles will go with the “hot hand” approach to fill the LEO position. Coach Anthony Lynn said he’ll rotate Joey Bosa, Jerry Tillery and Emeke Egbule.

If Ballage can’t play, running backs Joshua Kelley and Troymaine Pope will split the reps. However, there’s a chance that Austin Ekeler could return this weekend, which would be huge for the backfield.

Chargers final injury report vs. Jets: 2 questionable

The Los Angeles Chargers will have defensive end Joey Bosa back this Sunday.

The Los Angeles Chargers released their final injury report ahead of the Week 11 battle with the New York Jets.

Here is a look at the report:

QUESTIONABLE

LS Cole Mazza

QB Tyrod Taylor

Defensive end Joey Bosa, who missed the last two games with a concussion, will play.

Soach Anthony Lynn says if Cole Mazza can’t go, fullback Gabe Nabers or offensive tackle Trey Pipkins will be the long snappers.

“He didn’t regress. He’s doing fine. He just wanted to get something checked out. Once he got that checked out, he’s very confident he can play in the game and be OK,” Lynn said on Tyrod Taylor’s rib injury.

Chargers final injury report vs. Raiders: EDGE Joey Bosa doubtful

The Los Angeles Chargers will be without a key defensive lineman, but they could be getting a key offensive lineman back.

Here is a look at the report:

DOUBTFUL

QUESTIONABLE

DE Isaac Rochell

RG Trai Turner

S Jahleel Addae

CB Brandon Facyson

CB Casey Hayward

It’s most likely that the Chargers will be without defensive end Joey Bosa, who is doubtful with a concussion. Bosa left last Sunday’s game against the Broncos to undergo an evaluation after sustaining a head injury.

With Bosa likely out, Isaac Rochell will see his playing time increase. Uchenna Nwosu should see an uptick in snaps, as well.

Cornerback Casey Hayward is questionable due to a non-injury related reason. Coach Anthony Lynn said Hayward’s absence is a “fluid situation.” He wouldn’t elaborate much further on that.

Other notables include quarterback Tyrod Taylor being active as the team’s backup. Taylor hasn’t played since Week 1 after sustaining a punctured lung prior to the Week 2 matchup against the Chiefs.

Along with that, guard Trai Turner is trending in a positive direction towards playing this weekend. Turner, who hasn’t played since Week 2, was limited in Friday’s practice. Lynn said he has been getting better everyday.

Chargers inactives: See who’s in and who’s out for Week 8 vs. Broncos

Bryan Bulaga is active.

The Los Angeles Chargers are visiting the Denver Broncos in Week 8 of the regular season.

Here is a look at their inactives today:

Tyrod Taylor

Desmond King II

Trai Turner

Storm Norton

Tyron Johnson

Tackle Bryan Bulaga is officially active. This marks Bulaga’s first game played since Week 3.

Cornerback Desmond King was ruled out on Saturday for non-injury related reasons. Tevaughn Campbell will likely see the majority of the snaps in the slot.

With guard Trai Turner out again, Tyree St. Louis will start at right guard.

How Chargers offensive line might shake up vs. Broncos

The Los Angeles Chargers offensive line could possibly look more depleted this weekend.

The Chargers offensive line took a hit with injuries to two key starters, guard Trai Turner and tackle Bryan Bulaga, earlier this season.

Los Angeles has been without them for the past few weeks, and both of their statuses still remain in doubt heading into this weekend against the Broncos.

Turner has been ruled out while Bulaga is questionable for Week 8.

In addition, the team will be without Turner’s replacement, Ryan Groy, who was placed on the injured/COVID-19 list. They could also be without Bulaga’s replacement, Trey Pipkins, who was a close contact to Groy as well as his backup, Storm Norton, who is questionable with a knee injury.

Pipkins was placed on the COVID-19 list, but it doesn’t necessarily rule him out from Sunday’s contest, per coach Anthony Lynn.

However, if Bulaga, Pipkins and Norton can’t go, the offensive line will look a lot more thin than what it already was.

If this actually comes to fruition, here’s a look at the starting unit:

LT – Sam Tevi

LG – Forrest Lamp

C – Dan Feeney

RG – Scott Quessenberry

RT – Tyree St. Louis

Facing a Broncos defense that’s averaging three sacks per game, the Chargers offense could be in for a long day.
