Amway Coaches Poll released: Florida jumps Georgia

The Amway Coaches Poll has been released after a wild weekend. Where is Georgia football now?

After a weekend that saw No. 3 ranked Oklahoma and No. 5 LSU go down, the Amway Coaches Poll, powered by USA TODAY Sports, has been released.

Georgia, which checks in at No. 4 this week, by no means had a stellar performance on Saturday, despite beating the Razorbacks 37-10. The offense looked flat and the Dawgs played their most undisciplined football we’ve seen from them in a long time. Last week, UGA held a tie for third with Oklahoma

The Florida Gators, who beat Ole Miss 51-35, actually jumped Georgia this week and now ranks No  3.

Georgia did, however, finish with the widest margin of victory in the SEC’s opening week.

Top-10:

1) Alabama

2) Clemson

3) Florida

4) Georgia

5) Notre Dame

6) Ohio State

7) Auburn

8) Miami

9) Texas

10) Penn State
