Michigan State lands commitment from 2022 big man Carson Cooper

Michigan State basketball has picked up a late commitment for their 2022 recruiting class. On Sunday, Adam Finkelstein of 247Sports reported that Carson Cooper, a 6-foot-11 big man out of IMG Academy.

Cooper is originally from Jackson, Michigan, but spent last year down with IMG Academy in Florida. He was very lightly recruited until this past year when his options grew exponentially, culminating in the commitment to the Spartans.

According to Finkelstein, Cooper will likely redshirt his first year with the team.
