The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are looking to get their fourth win on the season against the Atlanta Falcons, and this game is an important one for a number of reasons.

If the Bucs win this game, they’ll be two losses up on both the Falcons and the New Orleans Saints. Should they lose, though, Atlanta will take the NFC South and will have an easy schedule ahead of it, so a Tampa Bay victory in this game could be imperative for its playoff race going forward.

If you can’t keep up with the action on TV, Bucs Wire is at Raymond James Stadium with live updates:

YouTube star Mr. Beast appears at Bucs’ Week 7 game vs. Falcons

One of the internet’s most famous content creators stopped by Raymond James Stadium to watch the Bucs play the Falcons in Week 7.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers had an internet celebrity present at their Week 7 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons.

Famous YouTuber Mr. Beast, whose YouTube channel currently has the most subscribers for an individual on the platform with 202 million, is present at the team’s game against the Falcons. He was seen during pregame wearing a full Bucs uniform and interacting with fans by the team’s tunnel a few hours before game time. He posted a video on the Bucs’ official social media account, jokingly saying that Tampa Bay let him “join the team for a day.”

Mr. Beast focuses on a variety of content on his YouTube channel, and videos with celebrities or notable industries is the norm. While it’s unknown exactly why he attended the game, it’s possible that the Bucs could feature in one of his upcoming videos.

Sunday’s Week 7 game against the Falcons is a major NFC South swing

Tampa Bay’s playoff percentage drastically swings depending on the result of Sunday’s matchup against Atlanta.

It isn’t just an ordinary game for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday — the fate of the division is at stake.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are looking to make the playoffs this year, and to do that, they’ll likely have to win the division. Whether they can do that could depend on their Week 7 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons, as the odds shift heavily depending on the result of that game at Raymond James Stadium.

Pro Football Focus has the Bucs with a 73% chance to make the playoffs with a victory over the Falcons, but just a 40% chance to make it with a loss. The Falcons’ schedule remains very favorable after this game, while the Bucs still have to play the 49ers, Bills and Jaguars in their first-place schedule from last year. As such, winning this game may be imperative to keep Tampa Bay’s playoff hopes alive.

As it stands, the Bucs hold the lead in the NFC South with a 3-2 record. The Falcons are 3-3, so a win for Tampa Bay would have it two losses up on both the Saints and the Falcons. A loss would see Atlanta go one win up on the Bucs, though, so head coach Todd Bowles and his crew will have to be on their a-game heading into this matchup.

Behind Enemy Lines with the Atlanta Falcons

We sat down with Falcons Wire to talk about Atlanta’s strengths and weaknesses, quarterback play and more.

It’s time for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ second NFC South game on Sunday, and it may be the most important of the season for the team.

The Atlanta Falcons have the same amount of wins as the Bucs and are just one loss back, so this matchup will be vital for both teams’ NFC South bid. Should the Bucs win, they’ll be up two losses on both the Falcons and the New Orleans Saints, so the importance of this NFC South matchup cannot be stressed enough.

We’ll still try, though, as we sat down with Falcons Wire‘s Matt Urben to talk about the matchup, the Falcons’ strengths and weaknesses and more:

Week 7 picks: Who experts and pundits are taking in Bucs vs. Falcons

Experts overwhelmingly favor the Bucs in their Week 7 matchup.

In a rare instance for the 2023 season so far, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers come into a game as overwhelming expert favorites.

The Bucs are set to take on the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, and pundits and experts are overwhelmingly picking them to win. This goes against betting odds, as Tampa Bay is only favored by 2.5 points at home against the Falcons, but many are confident in the Bucs’ ability to beat the Falcons and move ahead in the NFC South. Should Tampa Bay win, they’ll create a gap in the division that will be tough for any contenders to jump.

Bucs Wire staff picks for Week 7 against the Falcons

Here’s how we see Week 7’s crucial matchup vs. the Falcons shaping up for the Bucs:

To say that Week 7’s prime NFC South matchup is a crucial one might be understating it.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Atlanta Falcons square off at Raymond James Stadium on Sunday, and the victor will take hold of the NFC South and set the tone for the division going forward. Should the Bucs win, they’ll be two losses up on both contending division rivals, but should the Falcons win, they’ll take sole possession of the NFC South over Tampa Bay and play a very favorable schedule for the rest of the year.

Here’s how you can tune in to Tampa Bay’s game against Atlanta on Sunday:

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are 3-2, and this matchup against a 3-3 Atlanta Falcons team might be their most important yet.

Both teams need this win to solidify their chance at a division title and a playoff berth. If the Bucs win, they go two losses up on both the Falcons and the Saints and secure a nigh-unclimbable foothold on the NFC South (barring anything crazy happening down the line). Should the Falcons win, though, they’ll take first place in the NFC South and the aspirations for Tampa Bay will draw a bit further out of reach.

Bucs Week 7 Final Injury Report: Two Tampa Bay players listed as questionable

No player between the Bucs and the Falcons are ruled out for Sunday.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers remain healthy heading into Week 7’s matchup against the Atlanta Falcons, and the injuries they do have don’t appear to be too serious.

The biggest question after Thursday’s report was the absence of defensive tackle [autotag]Vita Vea[/autotag], who seemed to take a setback after having limited practice on Wednesday. He was back to limited practice on Friday, however, and head coach Todd Bowles seemed to imply after practice Friday that his foot is simply sore and that giving it 48 hours likely has him playing on Sunday. The other questionable player is outside linebacker [autotag]Anthony Nelson[/autotag], who has had two weeks of full practice but now needs to clear concussion protocol to play.

Here is what the small injury report looks like:

After Falcons DT Calais Campbell took a rest day on Monday, no player has been on Atlanta’s injury report.

Three causes for concern when the Bucs face the Falcons

Here are a few things the Bucs need to look out for on Sunday in a game that will be pivotal for the NFC South:

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are set to play the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, and the stakes are high.

With a New Orleans Saints loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Bucs have an opportunity to get two losses ahead of both the Saints and the Falcons, which would create a massive lead in the NFC South. The Falcons, meanwhile, could take first place in the division and need to win this game to avoid slipping backward in the fight for the division.

The Falcons are a talented team, and while there are a few concerns with their roster and their quarterback play, there’s still plenty to worry about if you’re the Bucs:

Here’s where you’ll be able to watch the Bucs play the Falcons on Sunday:

Baker Mayfield and the Buccaneers are ready to redeem themselves after a poor performance against the Detroit Lions Sunday.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-2) host the Atlanta Falcons (3-3) noon Sunday at Raymond James Stadium. The 506 Sports graphic below shows where the Bucs’ Week 7 matchup will be televised. The yellow regions will televise the game.

The game will be broadcast by FOX. Chris Myers and three-time Super Bowl champion Mark Schlereth will commentate the matchup.

Tampa Bay has dominated the Falcons in recent history and won five of its last six games against Atlanta behind former QB Tom Brady. Sunday will be the second time Mayfield has faced the Falcons in his career. He defeated Atlanta as the Browns starting quarterback in 2018 and threw for 216 yards and three touchdowns.

The Falcons are a 2.5-point underdog against Tampa Bay according to BetMGM. The Bucs have a 52.6% chance of winning according to ESPN Analytics.
