LeBron James’ youngest son Bryce James is a top-100 USC target

There is a contentious, fierce debate surrounding Bryce James’ recruiting ranking.

USC target Bryce James is the son of NBA superstar and Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James. Bryce has been ranked in the top 100 recruits for the 2025 class.

In the latest On3 rankings, Bryce James is listed at No. 100 for the Class of 2025. While there is a lot of potential for Bryce, his latest performance at the Peach Jam left fans wanting more.

He is currently a consensus three-star prospect in the 2025 class rated No. 150 nationally by Rivals and No. 181 by 247Sports.

“Bryce James is not a Top 100 player right now,” Jeff Goodman said.

“Bryce James being a top-100 recruit is significantly worse than anything Bronny-related over the last two years,” college basketball analyst Kevin Sweeney wrote.

The younger brother of Bronny James has offers from the Ohio State Buckeyes, USC Trojans and Duquesne.

Do you think On3’s ranking for Bryce is too high, too low, or just right?

Will Eric Mussleman and USC land another James family recruit after Andy Enfield landed Bronny James? We will see.

Lakers rookie Bronny James was in attendance to watch USA Basketball defeat Serbia in thrilling fashion in the semifinals of the Olympics.

Los Angeles Lakers rookie Bronny James was among the individuals in attendance on Thursday to watch USA Basketball defeat Serbia in the semifinals of the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, France.

James was joined courtside by his younger brother, Bryce, for the contest, which saw the United States overcome a 17-point deficit. Several other luminaries were also on hand, including Dirk Nowitzki, Carmelo Anthony, Tony Parker, Sue Bird and Megan Rapinoe.

The group was treated to a thrilling 95-91 win by the Americans.

Stephen Curry erupted for 36 points, including the go-ahead 3-pointer with 2:24 left to play, while Joel Embiid had 19 points and LeBron James, father and teammate of Bronny, registered a triple-double with 16 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists.

Team USA trailed by 13 points entering the fourth quarter, but coach Steve Kerr leaned mostly on a 5-man lineup that featured Curry, Embiid, James, Kevin Durant and Devin Booker. The group outscored the Serbians 32-15 to set up a gold medal match with France on Saturday.

You can bet Bronny will be there to watch his father go for a third gold.

Bryce James trolls his father, LeBron, in classic Instagram post

Bryce James has some fun at his father’s expense.

In a recent social media post, high school basketball standout Bryce James is simply having a go at his father, LeBron James. Of course, the Los Angeles Lakers forward is having a pretty good week himself.

More on LeBron James in a moment. Let’s give a little steak to some of this sizzle.

In 2018, LeBron James had a famous social media post featuring a photo where he was in a pool and smiling. The caption of the photo was “Smiling through it all! Can’t believe this is my life.”

So along comes Bryce James, a class of 2025 small forward and a three-star recruit out of Sierra Canyon (Chatsworth, California). In a social media post on Friday afternoon, Bryce James pokes fun at his father’s famous “Smiling through it all!” social media post with one of his own.

And hilariously, Bryce James’ post is very obviously not in a pool but features a pool background. It adds to the cleverness of the post:

As for LeBron James, well, he signed a two-year, max-deal with the Lakers.

Bryce James hilariously recreated LeBronā€™s iconic ā€˜smiling through it allā€™ meme

Bryce James is smiling through it all, just like his father.

When it comes to the sons of LeBron James, a lot of the attention in recent weeks has certainly been placed on Bronny James.

James and his father are joining forces at the NBA level after he was selected by the Los Angeles Lakers late in the second round of the 2024 draft following one season at USC. But James’ next-youngest son, Bryce, could be in the mix in the future as well.

The younger James sibling isn’t as highly rated as his brother was, though he still ranks in the top 175 nationally, according to 247Sports. The 2025 prospect holds offers from Duquesne and Ohio State, and he recently was the subject of a hilarious viral moment.

He recreated his father’s iconic meme featuring himself in a pool with the caption “Smiling through it all. Can’t believe this is my life.”

Only time will tell if Bryce is able to join Bronny and LeBron in the NBA, but it’s clear that he’s already following in the latter’s footsteps when it comes to memes.

Will Bryce James attend USC and pursue an NBA path within his famous family?

Bryce James becomes the next member of the James family to confront a college recruitment decision.

Bryce James is a 6’4, 210-pound three-star guard who attends Sierra Canyon High School in Calabasas (California). He’s the No. 148 prospect in the nation per 247Sports.Ā ESPNĀ has him as the No. 22 player in the state of California and outside of its national top 100. The 17-year-old has offers from Duquesne, Ohio State and USC so far with many more to come.

Bryce signed an NIL contract with Klutch Sports in December of 2022. Klutch is the well-known sports agency founded by LeBron’s friend Rich Paul that handles the player’s negotiations with companies looking to sign endorsement contracts.

Klutch Sports announced Bryce’s NIL contract on X, writing, “Welcome Bryce James!” Bryce, who’s part of the 2025 recruiting class, joins Bronny James and a number of prominent celebrities and athletes on the agency’s stacked roster.

Bryce currently plays on the LeBron James AAU squad ā€œTeam Strive for Greatness.”

Bryce has a good shot that extends well past the high school 3-point line. He is a good finisher and a decent playmaker who can shoot off movement. He still has a ways to go in terms of putting the ball on the floor and creating shots for himself and others.

Between the two brothers, Bronny is still the better NBA prospect. Bryce may have a higher ceiling if he can continue to develop his skills, but he has a way to go to catch up.

Bryce James shared Bronny’s very moving reaction to being drafted by the Lakers

Bryce James shared a wonderful look at his brother Bronny getting drafted by the Lakers.

Bronny James being drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers to join his dad, LeBron James, in the NBA is easily the sports story of the day.

While it was a predictable outcome, there still had to be plenty of emotion in the room where the James family watched Bronny James realize his NBA dreams and get a chance to play with his father with Los Angeles.

Bryce James, Bronny’s younger brother, shared on Instagram the moment that his older sibling saw his draft pick announced on ESPN and the celebration in the room that followed. The results are very moving.

Regardless of how you feel about how well this will work, there is something undeniably touching about seeing Bronny James react to such a life-changing moment, and it’s awesome that his younger brother shared the moment for us to see.

It really adds some real heft to this already surreal sports moment.

A rumor regarding Ohio State basketball, LeBron James and his son Bryce is interesting

It would be wild if this did happen for the Buckeyes. #GoBucks

There has been a rumor going around social media on Monday morning regarding Ohio State menā€™s basketball, [autotag]LeBron James[/autotag] and his high school star son, [autotag]Bryce James[/autotag].

Itā€™s an interesting one which revolves around who could be chosen as the next Buckeyes hoops head coach. As great as interim caretaker, Jake Diebler has been, itā€™s highly unlikely that he takes over the program on a full-time basis.

The rumor, according to CFB Focusā€™ social media page, has the Los Angeles star LeBron wanting Florida Atlantic coach, [autotag]Dusty May,[/autotag] to be named the next head coach. If that were to happen, the rumor goes on to say that James would make a huge donation to OSU along with most likely sending his son Bryce to play for May and OSU.

This is a pretty out-there rumor, but May has been attached to the Buckeye coaching gig. As for Bryce, at 6-foot, 4-inches, and 180-pounds, he wouldnā€™t come in with the same hype as his brother Bronny, but would still be a solid player. Heā€™s ranked as the No. 22 shooting guard and 156th overall prospect according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings.

He’s coming home: Bryce James, the son of Lebron James, is heading back to Sierra Canyon

Bryce James is heading back to Sierra Canyon from Notre Dame Prep.

Bryce James is heading back to the high school where he spent the last two seasons. The three-star guard, who is the son of NBA superstar LeBron James, is heading back home.

On Tuesday, Bryce James officially unenrolled from Notre Dame (Sherman Oaks, California) and intends to re-enroll at Sierra Canyon (Chatsworth, California). The junior spent the first two years of high school at Sierra Canyon.

The Trailblazers have already started their season and are 2-0.

His father, Lebron James, notoriously left his hometown team, the Cleveland Cavaliers to take his talents to Miami. He spent four seasons in south Florida before returning to Cleveland, where he won an NBA championship in 2016.

The decision by Bryce James isn’t quite as momentous, but it is still noteworthy in the world of prep basketball. The story was first broken by Sports Illustrated.

In the 247 Sports Composite, Bryce James is the No. 135 recruit in the nation in the class of 2025. He holds offers from Duquesne and Ohio State.

Q&A: Baron Davis on the exciting Flight Club Invitational tournament at Crossroads School

Flight Club recently announced a multi-year partnership with Crossroads.

Two-time NBA All-Star guard Baron Davis is the most notable basketball alumnus of Crossroads School For Arts & Sciences in Santa Monica, California.

He was named Gatorade National Player of the Year in 1997 and led his school to win The Beach Ball Classic tournament in South Carolina when he was in high school.

Decades later, the former McDonald’s All-American is returning to the campus as the Crossroads School’s Boys High School Basketball Team hosts its inaugural Flight Club Invitational basketball tournament on October 28 and 29.

Flight Club recently announced a unique, multi-year partnership with Crossroads. The sneaker consignment store will produce exclusive jerseys and products for the team and coaching staff.

Davis will attend the Crossroads Sports Complex in Santa Monica as several nationally rankedĀ teams are set to compete in this one-of-a-kind tournament.

Some of the players who will take the court include Bryce James (son of LeBron James), Alijah Arenas (son of Gilbert Arenas), Tajh Ariza (son of Trevor Ariza) and Mercy Miller (son of Master P). Other top prospects include five-star recruit Jason Crowe Jr. and four-star recruits such as Naas Cunningham and Emmanuel Stephen.

For The Win spoke with Davis to discuss the tournament, parenting two young children and his own sneaker collection.

Did LeBron James’ wife hint he will play several more seasons in the NBA?

In a new “Beats by Dre” commercial, there may be a hint that LeBron James will not retire for a little while.

Tuesday will mark the official start of LeBron James’ 21st NBA season. He looks to be healthy and energized right now, and he recently said he is still motivated to be great and win another world championship.

It is anyone’s best guess how much longer he will play, let alone how much longer he will be able to play at a high level. He has become injury-prone since joining the Los Angeles Lakers five years ago, and at any time, he could suffer a major injury that would rob him of his explosiveness or even jeopardize the rest of his career.

James has said many times he wants to play with his son Bronny, who is beginning his freshman year at the University of Southern California and is considered a legitimate NBA draft prospect. The earliest the younger James will be eligible for the draft is 2024, but that doesn’t mean he will necessarily declare for the draft that soon.

The elder James also has a son named Bryce, who is 16 years of age and may have even more potential than Bronny James.

In a new commercial for “Beats by Dre,” Savannah James, LeBron James’ wife, may have hinted at his desire to not just play in the NBA with Bronny James but also Bryce James (h/t Lakers Daily).

Bryce James recently transferred from Sierra Canyon School, where Bronny James played his high school ball, to Notre Dame High School. He will reportedly be eligible for the NBA draft in 2026.

LeBron James’ current contract with the Lakers expires at the end of next season. However, he could opt out of that contract this summer and become a free agent.
