Dallas Mavericks at Brooklyn Nets odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Thursday’s Dallas Mavericks at Brooklyn Nets odds and lines, with NBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The Dallas Mavericks (1-2) take on the Brooklyn Nets (1-3) Thursday at Barclays Center. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET (NBA TV). Below, we analyze Tipico Sportsbook’s lines around the Mavericks vs. Nets odds, and make our expert NBA picks and predictions.

The Mavericks suffered a narrow 113-111 road loss to a shorthanded New Orleans Pelicans squad Tuesday as they failed to cover as 5.5-point favorites. Even though Dallas is only 1-2, G Luka Doncic is putting up MVP-type numbers thus far with 34.7 points, 9.0 rebounds, 7.7 assists and 1.7 steals per game on 50% shooting from the field.

The Nets are on the 2nd leg of a back-to-back Thursday after losing 110-99 at the Milwaukee Bucks Wednesday, failing to keep it close enough to cover the 3-point spread. Despite the slow start from Brooklyn, F Kevin Durant continues to excel on the offensive end with 32.3 points, 4.8 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 2.0 blocks per game on 52.4% shooting from the field.

Mavericks at Nets picks and predictions

Prediction

Mavericks 119, Nets 111

Moneyline

Take the MAVERICKS (-135) to win on the road coming off 1 day of rest while the Nets are on 2nd end of a back-to-back set. I’m expecting Doncic to be motivated to win after missing a potential game-winning 3-point shot Tuesday night against the Pelicans.

Against the spread

MAVERICKS -2.5 (-108) is the ideal choice, especially with all 3 losses by the Nets being double-digit losses. While Brooklyn will have Durant and G Kyrie Irving, the Nets haven’t had much scoring production from the other players on the roster to begin the season.

The Mavericks are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 Thursday games and the Nets are 1-7 ATS in their last 8 games following a loss.

Over/Under

The Nets have a dismal defense that boasts the 2nd-worst defensive rating in the NBA while the Mavericks have the best offensive rating to begin the season.

With Dallas primed to score plenty of points, and Brooklyn having a duo in Durant and Irving that can score with ease, OVER 226.5 (-112) is the move in this game.

The Mavericks have hit the Over in 4 of their last 5 games overall and 4 of their last 5 games against a team with a losing record.

Brooklyn Nets at Milwaukee Bucks odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Wednesday’s Brooklyn Nets at Milwaukee Bucks odds and lines, with NBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The Brooklyn Nets (1-2) will take on the Milwaukee Bucks (2-0)  Wednesday at the Fiserv Forum. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET (ESPN). Below, we analyze Tipico Sportsbook’s lines around the Nets vs. Bucks odds, and make our expert NBA picks and predictions.

The Nets are coming off a 134-124 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday as they failed to cover the 1-point spread on the road. Brooklyn has now lost 2 of its first 3 games of the season by double-digits despite having G Kyrie Irving and F Kevin Durant on the floor together.

The Bucks haven’t played since a 125-105 victory over the Houston Rockets on Saturday as 13-point favorites at home. F Giannis Antetokounmpo has gotten off to a hot start with 32.5 points, 12.5 rebounds, 5.5 assists, and 1.5 blocks per game on 70.3% shooting from the field.

Nets at Bucks picks and predictions

Prediction

Bucks 112, Nets 105

Moneyline

Just PASS on the moneyline in this game despite the expectation of the Bucks winning at home. Milwaukee’s odds aren’t currently at a spot where I feel comfortable taking them straight up, though, I’m fine inserting the Bucks into a parlay.

Against the spread

Even with Milwaukee being without Middleton, I’ll take BUCKS -3.5 (-117) with how Brooklyn has looked to begin the season. The Nets need to figure out how to incorporate G Ben Simmons into the lineup and I don’t believe they figure it out Wednesday.

Brooklyn is 1-5 ATS in its last 6 games overall and 2-5 ATS in the last 7 road meetings against Milwaukee. Meanwhile, the Bucks are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games against a team with a losing record.

Over/Under

UNDER 232.5 (-105) is where I’m leaning in this game with it being a lofty total despite Middleton being sidelined for the Bucks. These 2 teams have capable scorers on the floor still, but they are both bottom 10 teams in pace to begin the season.

The Under is 6-1 in the last 7 meetings between the Nets and the Bucks when the game is in Milwaukee. The Under is also 10-2-1 in the last 13 meetings overall.

New Orleans Pelicans at Brooklyn Nets odds, picks and prediction

Analyzing Saturday’s New Orleans Pelicans at Brooklyn Nets and lines, with NBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The New Orleans Pelicans (16-26) stop by Barclays Center Saturday for a 7:30 p.m. ET game against the Brooklyn Nets (26-15). Below, we look at the Pelicans vs. Nets odds and lines, and make our expert NBA picks, predictions and bets.

NOLA has won three of its last four games (4-0 ATS) including two straight at home against the Minnesota Timberwolves 128-125 Tuesday and the Los Angeles Clippers 113-89 Thursday.

The Pelicans are 3-4 straight-up (SU), 4-3 ATS and 3-4 O/U with the 17th-ranked adjusted net rating at a minus-2.1 and the 11th-best ATS margin at plus-1.9 over the last two weeks, according to CleaningTheGlass.com (CTG).

Brooklyn has seesawed between winning and losing over the last seven games (3-4 SU and 1-6 ATS), losing at home to the Oklahoma City Thunder 130-109 in its latest outing.

The Nets have the 18th-ranked adjusted net rating at a minus-2.6 and the second-worst ATS margin at minus-9.9 over the last 14 days.

The Nets beat the Pelicans 120-112 in New Orleans but failed to cover as 9-point road favorites. The Pelicans were missing leading scorer SF Brandon Ingram, who averages 22.9 points per game, in the first meeting.

Pelicans at Nets odds, lines, picks and predictions

Prediction

Nets 113, Pelicans 109

Money line

PASS with a heavy “lean” towards the Pelicans (+205) because I’m taking NOLA plus the points and generally will sprinkle on an underdog’s money line when betting them to cover the spread.

However, F Kevin Durant is going to be out there Saturday and that’s reason enough to stay away from the Pelicans here. The Nets are just 11-11 at home this season, but the Pelicans are just 4-13 as a road underdog.

Against the spread

BET the PELICANS +6.5 (-115) because I think the Nets aren’t profitable at home, the Pelicans have already been bet by sharp money and NOLA has a strength-on-weakness edge on the glass.

Brooklyn is just 4-17-1 ATS at home with a minus-7.8 ATS margin, 2-6 ATS versus teams with a losing record and 2-6 ATS when laying 5-7 points.

This makes sense because what do the Nets have to prove in the regular season? Also, Kyrie’s part-time, road-game-only schedule lowers Brooklyn’s basketball ceiling and the Nets have a weak home crowd.

The Pelicans are fourth in offensive rebounding rate and fifth in second-chance points per game (PPG). Whereas the Nets are 22nd in defensive rebounding rate and 20th in second-chance PPG allowed.

Lastly, New Orleans was a 7.5-point underdog on the world opener before being steamed down to the current price. However, I still think there’s value in the PELICANS +6.5 (-115).

Over/Under

BET the UNDER 230.5 (-112) because this number is way too high. The Pelicans are 5-12 O/U as road underdogs, the Nets are 8-13 O/U as home favorites and both teams score fewer PPG in their respective location splits.

Brooklyn’s defense has also been more reliable than its offense this season and NOLA ranks 20th in pace. Both KD and G James Harden love to play half-court basketball so they’ll be okay with a slower-paced game.

There are a ton of Over-friendly trends in this matchup and the total has already been steamed up from the 228.5-point opener. But, I disagreed with the opening Pelicans-Nets total and this is a good spot to fade the trends.

The UNDER 230.5 (-112) for 1 unit is my favorite wager in this game.

Brooklyn Nets at Chicago Bulls odds, picks and prediction

Analyzing Wednesday’s Brooklyn Nets at Chicago Bulls and lines, with NBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The Brooklyn Nets (25-14) travel to the Windy City Wednesday for a 10 p.m. ET tip-off with the Chicago Bulls (27-11) at the United Center. Below, we look at the Nets vs. Bulls odds and lines, and make our expert NBA picks, predictions and bets.

Brooklyn has alternated between winning and losing over the past five games most recently losing at the Portland Trail Blazers 114-108 as 8.5-point road favorites. It was Kyrie Irving‘s second game back, and Kyrie scored 22 points on 42.9% shooting with 8 rebounds and 4 assists.

Over the past two weeks, the Nets are 2-5 straight-up (SU), 0-7 ATS and 3-4 O/U with the 23rd-ranked non-garbage time net rating at minus-6.1 points per 100 possessions, according to CleaningTheGlass.com (CTG).

The Bulls (-13.5) clobbered the Detroit Pistons last night (Tuesday) 133-87 for Chicago’s 10th win in the last 11 games.

In the last 14 days, the Bulls are 6-1 SU, 3-4 ATS and 3-4 O/U with the fifth-best non-garbage time net rating at plus-8.4 points per 100 possessions, per CTG.

Chicago has won and covered against Brooklyn in their first two meetings this season. The Under has cashed in six consecutive Nets-Bulls games.

Nets at Bulls odds, lines, picks and predictions

Prediction

Money line

“LEAN” to the BULLS (-130) because they are being backed by presumably sharp money while the Nets (+105) are the public side.

According to Pregame.com, Chicago’s money line has been steamed up from the -125 opener.

Furthermore, the Bulls are healthier and more in-sync than the Nets. Kyrie goes in and out of the lineup based on his opponent location’s COVID policies, and Harden is dealing with a knee injury.

On the other hand, Chicago has all three of its former All-Stars (DeMar DeRozanZach LaVine and Nikola Vučević) in the lineup along with floor general and first-year PG Lonzo Ball.

There were questions about how these new pieces would gel for the Bulls, but considering Chicago is first-place in the Eastern Conference, the Bulls are one of the biggest first-half surprises in the NBA.

I only “LEAN” to the BULLS (-130) because I’d rather wait to see Brooklyn’s official starting 5 before placing a wager.

Against the spread

PASS since Chicago’s money line is only 10 cents on the dollar more expensive than the Bulls -1.5 (-120) so there’s no point in fussing with the spread here.

For what it’s worth, Chicago is 11-5 ATS as a home favorite, and Brooklyn is 3-1 ATS as a road underdog.

Over/Under

BET the UNDER 233.5 (-107) for 1 unit as a fade against this line movement. The Nets-Bulls look-ahead total was set at 231 but has been steamed all the way up to 233.5.

Both teams have a bottom-six 3-point attempt rate, and the Under has cashed in Chicago’s last five meetings with teams above-.500.

Also, the Nets are 6-12 O/U versus teams with a winning record, and the Bulls are 6-9 O/U against teams with a winning record.

Milwaukee Bucks at Brooklyn Nets odds, picks and prediction

Analyzing Friday’s Milwaukee Bucks at Brooklyn Nets and lines, with NBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The Milwaukee Bucks (25-15) meet the Brooklyn Nets (24-12) Friday in a rematch of last season’s second-round Eastern Conference playoff series. The tip-off at Barclays Center is set for 7:30 p.m. ET. Below, we look at the Bucks vs. Nets odds and lines, and make our expert NBA picks, predictions and bets.

Milwaukee defeated Brooklyn 4-3 in an exhilarating best-of-seven second-round playoff series last season en route to an NBA championship. Last regular season, the Bucks were 2-1 straight-up (SU) and ATS versus the Nets.

The Bucks have lost back-to-back games to the Detroit Pistons 115-106 Monday and the Toronto Raptors 117-111 Wednesday.

Over the past two weeks, Milwaukee is 5-2 SU, 4-3 ATS and 5-2 O/U with the seventh-best non-garbage time net rating at plus-6.0 points per 100 possessions, according to CleaningTheGlass.com (CTG).

Brooklyn snapped its three-game losing skid Friday when won at the Indiana Pacers 129-121 but failed to cover as 8.5-point road favorites. It was Nets PG Kyrie Irving‘s season debut, and Irving scored 22 points on 9-of-17 shooting with 4 assists and 3 steals.

In the last 14 days, Brooklyn is 3-3 SU, 2-4 ATS and 4-2 O/U with the 15th-ranked non-garbage time net rating at plus-0.7 points per 100 possessions, per CTG.

Bucks at Nets odds, lines, picks and predictions

Prediction

Nets 116, Bucks 107

Money line

PASS since I like Brooklyn to win this game going away, but still, the Nets (-200) is out of my price range.

The Bucks (+160) are the reigning champions, and Milwaukee’s All-Star wings Giannis and Khris Middleton are certainly good enough to push Milwaukee past Brooklyn.

Against the spread

BET the NETS -4.5 (-120) for 1 unit because they are a lot healthier, and this should be a revenge spot for Brooklyn.

Also, the Bucks are an NBA’s worst 4-10 ATS as a road underdog with a minus-4.6 ATS margin since the start of last season.

On top of that, Milwaukee will be without its top-two players by adjusted on/off net rating in Holiday and Hill Friday.

Holiday grades in the 97th percentile of points guards in adjusted on/off net rating at plus-15.7 points per 100 possessions and Hill grades in the 99th percentile of combo guards at plus-20.5 points per 100 possessions, per CTG.

Furthermore, Holiday, along with DiVincenzo and Connaughton who are also on the injury report, would be tasked with checking Brooklyn’s James Harden. Not having these guys, Holiday especially, could be a nightmare for Milwaukee and Harden could ball out.

Finally, I think the Nets want to make a statement Friday against the team that eliminated them from the playoffs last season.

Nets’ Kevin Durant is almost being slept on as an MVP candidate. I’m expecting a great performance out of KD in this primetime game versus two-time MVP Giannis and the defending champions.

BET 1 unit on the NETS -4.5 (-120).

Over/Under

“LEAN” to the UNDER 229.5 (-110) for a quarter-unit, if at all, because Milwaukee is 1-8-1 O/U in its last 10 games versus teams with a winning record and the Bucks-Nets total is 1-8-1 O/U in their last 10 meetings.

However, I can only “LEAN” to the UNDER 229.5 (-110) since Milwaukee has gone Over the total in five of its past six games, and I anticipate Harden wreaking havoc on this banged-up Bucks backcourt.

Memphis Grizzlies at Brooklyn Nets odds, picks and prediction

Analyzing Monday’s Memphis Grizzlies at Brooklyn Nets and lines, with NBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The Memphis Grizzlies (23-14) visit Barclays Center Monday for a 7:30 p.m. ET tip-off against the Brooklyn Nets (23-11). Below, we look at the Grizzlies vs. Nets odds and lines, and make our expert NBA picks, predictions and bets.

Memphis enters on a four-game win streak with the latest being a 118-105 Grizzlies victory as 5.5-point favorites over the San Antonio Spurs Friday.

Memphis is 4-3 straight-up (SU), 3-2 ATS and 3-2 O/U over the last 14 days with the 11th-best adjusted net rating at plus-3.1 points per 100 possessions, according to CleaningTheGlass.com (CTG).

Brooklyn has lost and failed to cover in back-to-back home games to the Philadelphia 76ers 110-102 Thursday and to the Los Angeles Clippers 120-116 Saturday.

The Nets are 2-2 SU, 2-2 ATS and 3-1 O/U over the last two weeks with the 11th-best non-garbage time net rating at plus-2.9 points per 100 possessions (CTG).

The Grizzlies have won four straight versus the Nets (4-0 ATS) and the total is 2-2 O/U in those contests.

Grizzlies at Nets odds, lines, picks and predictions

Prediction

Grizzlies 111, Nets 108

Money line

Slight “LEAN” to the GRIZZLIES (+220) for a tiny wager, if at all, because I “like” Memphis getting points in this spot but the Nets are much healthier heading into this game.

However, Brooklyn has struggled with quality competition. The Nets are 3-6 SU against teams in the top-10 of efficiency differential with the 18th-ranked adjusted net rating at minus-5.3 points per 100 possessions and the worst spread differential at a minus-8.3 ATS margin (CTG).

Backing the Nets at home also hasn’t been very profitable this season. Brooklyn is 10-8 SU at home but has the 20th-ranked adjusted net rating and the third-worst spread differential at a minus-5.6 ATS margin. Whereas Memphis has the second-best cover rate on the road at 11-5 ATS.

Furthermore, Memphis has the ninth-best non-garbage time offensive rating and Brooklyn has also struggled against good offensive teams.

The Nets are 2-7 SU versus teams in the top-10 of offensive rating with the 24th-ranked adjusted net rating at minus-8.9 points per 100 possessions and the worst spread differential at a minus-11.8 ATS margin.

Again, I only slightly “LEAN” to the GRIZZLIES (+220) for a small bet with the plan of betting much more on Memphis’s spread.

Against the spread

Definitely BET the GRIZZLIES +6.5 (-112) heavier than or instead of Memphis’s money line.

This is a Pros vs. Joe’s game with the presumed sharp money backing Memphis but more bets have been placed on Brooklyn. Nearly 60% of the cash is on the Grizzlies but roughly 55% of the action is on the Nets according to pregame.com.

Typically, in sports betting, it’s wise to follow the money especially when it’s counter to the public. Plus the oddsmakers have reacted to the money by making Brooklyn’s spread cheaper.

The GRIZZLIES +6.5 (-112) is by far my favorite wager in this game.

Over/Under

“LEAN” to the UNDER 228.5 (-115) for a half-unit because this total is just way too high. Brooklyn is 7-11 O/U at home with a minus-3.3 total margin, Memphis is 7-8-1 O/U on the road with a minus-4.9 total margin and both teams are in the bottom-eight of 3-point attempt rate.

76ers at Nets odds, lines, picks and predictions

Prediction

Nets 118, 76ers 110

Money line

The 76ers have been solid on the road this season. They are 12-8 away from home and have won their last three road contests.

The Nets have underperformed this season at home, going 10-6 at Barclays Center. Six of their nine losses have come at home. They have had four winning streaks of three games or more this season and have a shot at a fifth with a win tonight.

Take the NETS (-205).

Against the spread

The 76ers have failed to cover the spread in seven of their last 10 games. They are 15-19 ATS on the season.

The Nets are 14-17-1 ATS this season but are 6-3 ATS in their last nine games. Their last six wins have been by seven points or more.

Take the NETS -4.5 (-120).

Over/Under

The Sixers’ last two games went Over the projected total but their Over percentage of 39.4% is the fourth-lowest in the league.

The Nets’ last two games and five of the last six have hit the Over. They are averaging 116.1 points per game in their last seven.

Take OVER 221.5 (-107).

Brooklyn Nets at Los Angeles Clippers odds, picks and prediction

Analyzing Monday’s Brooklyn Nets at Los Angeles Clippers and lines, with NBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The Los Angeles Clippers (17-16) host the Brooklyn Nets (22-9) Monday at the Crypto.com Arena for a 10:30 p.m. ET game. Below, we look at the Nets vs. Clippers odds and lines, and make our expert NBA picks, predictions and bets.

Brooklyn beat the Los Angeles Lakers 122-115 as 2.5-point road underdogs Christmas. Over the past two weeks, the Nets are 3-1 straight-up (SU), 2-2 ATS and 3-1 O/U with the 12th-best non-garbage time net rating (plus-3.3 points per 100 possessions), according to CleaningTheGlass.com (CTG).

The Clippers lost 103-100 last night (Sunday) at home to the Denver Nuggets, but covered as 4-point home underdogs. L.A. is 2-4 SU, 3-3 ATS and 1-5 O/U with the 20th-ranked non-garbage time net rating (minus-4.1 points per 100 possessions), per CTG.

Nets at Clippers odds, lines, picks and predictions

Prediction

Nets 112, Clippers 104

Money line

PASS with a heavy “lean” to the Nets (-180) since this is on the fringe of my price range for an NBA regular-season money line favorite.

Also, Brooklyn has been dealt the worst COVID luck in the league perhaps but the Nets just keep on winning.

Against the spread

“LEAN” to the NETS -4.5 (-108) for a half unit since they are just 2-9 ATS in their last 11 games as a favorite and the Clippers +4.5 (-112) just covered as slight home underdogs Sunday vs. the Nuggets.

However, L.A. has gotten rolled in the second of back-to-backs this season. The Clippers are 0-4 SU and ATS with a minus-16.0 spread differential when playing with no rest days. I’d presume that this second of a back-to-back is tougher than the previous for the Clippers considering they are short-handed.

Furthermore, Brooklyn has been one of the best road teams in the league thus far. The Nets are 12-3 SU with the third-best non-garbage time net rating on the road (plus-6.9 points per 100 possessions) and the eighth-best spread differential (plus-2.3 ATS margin), per CTG.

Over/Under

Slight “LEAN” to the OVER 213.5 (-115) because the Over has cashed in three of Brooklyn’s past four games and the assigned officiating crew has a combined 38-31 O/U record.

In addition, a vast majority of the market is backing the Under here, which has caused oddsmakers to lower the total from the 216.5-point opener so there’s a “fade the market” angle to play here.

Brooklyn Nets at Los Angeles Lakers odds, picks and prediction

Analyzing Saturday’s Brooklyn Nets at Los Angeles Lakers odds and lines, with NBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The Brooklyn Nets (21-9) visit the newly-renamed Crypto.com Arena for a Christmas evening game with the Los Angeles Lakers (16-17) at 8 p.m. ET. Below, we look at the Nets vs. Lakers odds and lines, and make our expert NBA picks, predictions and bets.

Brooklyn had its four-game winning streak snapped with a 100-93 loss to the Orlando Magic Saturday. The last three Nets’ games have been postponed due to a COVID-19 outbreak within Brooklyn.

The Nets are 4-1 straight-up (SU), 3-2 ATS and 3-2 O/U with the seventh-best non-garbage time net rating over the past two weeks (plus-5.1 points per 100 possessions), according to CleaningTheGlass.com (CTG).

L.A. is on a four-game losing skid including three blowout losses to the Minnesota Timberwolves, Phoenix Suns and San Antonio Spurs.

Since Dec. 9, the Lakers are 3-5 SU, 3-5 ATS and 2-6 O/U with the 25th-ranked non-garbage time net rating (minus-5.8 points per 100 possessions), per CTG.

Nets at Lakers odds, lines, picks and predictions

Prediction

Lakers 114, Nets 107

Money line

Brooklyn received good news when it was announced second-year guard James Harden is cleared from the health and safety protocols, but the Nets still have seven players on the COVID-19 list.

Both teams are playing with MASH units, but the LAKERS (-125) have fewer missing pieces. Christmas is the NBA’s largest regular-season stage and we know James will give an inspired performance. He needs 13 points to break Kobe Bryant’s all-time Christmas scoring record.

We have seen the same Harden this season that won an MVP with the Houston Rockets in 2017-18. According to CTG, Harden grades in the 37th percentile of guards in on/off net rating (minus-3.7 points per 100 possessions).

The Nets have been steamed up from +100 underdogs up to the current price despite missing perhaps the best player in the sport in Durant.

Granted, the Lakers are without Davis and several role players, but James and PG Russell Westbrook should be able to make up for those absences in this big prime-time spot.

It appears that the market is reacting to how disappointing L.A. has been to start this season. But with the Nets being the most affected team by COVID-19, the LAKERS (-125) are the right bet.

Against the spread

PASS since Los Angeles -1.5 (-112) doesn’t offer much insurance for our L.A. money line wager. The Nets are 3-11-1 ATS as road underdogs while the Lakers are 5-11 ATS as home favorites.

Over/Under

Slight “LEAN” to the UNDER 224.5 (-107) for a tiny wager if at all because the Lakers have the 25th-ranked offensive rating at home. Plus, the Nets get out in transition less with Harden on the floor and Brooklyn’s offense will flow through Harden with KD and Kyrie out.

However, I’m much more confident in L.A.’s money line than the UNDER 224.5 (-107).

Denver Nuggets at Brooklyn Nets odds, picks and prediction

Analyzing Sunday’s Denver Nuggets at Brooklyn Nets odds and lines, with NBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The Denver Nuggets (15-14) stop by Barclays Center Sunday for a 7:30 p.m. ET game against the Brooklyn Nets (21-9). Below, we look at the Nuggets vs. Nets odds and lines, and make our expert NBA picks, predictions and bets.

Brooklyn has been crippled by the NBA’s health and safety protocols. The Nets are missing 10 players due to COVID. This includes recently reactivated Kyrie Irving, who’s set to return for road games only due to still being unvaccinated.

The Nets had their four-game winning streak snapped last night (Saturday) in a 100-93 loss to the Orlando Magic.

Denver pummeled the Atlanta Hawks 133-115 as 3.5-point road underdogs Friday. The Nuggets are 4-3 overall, 4-3 ATS and 6-1 O/U with the 13th-ranked non-garbage time net rating (plus-0.3 points per 100 possessions) over the past two weeks, according to CleaningTheGlass.com (CTG).

Nuggets at Nets odds, lines, picks and predictions

Prediction

Nuggets 120, Nets 99

Money line

PASS even though I don’t see any way the Nets (+400) win this game suiting up a bunch of G-League players.

But, the Nuggets (-550) is still too expensive at the moment just based on the chance Denver has players randomly test positive for COVID.

If the game tips off with the projected starting lineups on the floor, then I’d be comfortable parlaying the Nuggets (-550) with another money line favorite or I guess laying it outright.

Against the spread

TAKING the NUGGETS -9.5 (-105) is the only way to bet this game.

Denver lit up a mostly healthy Atlanta team its last time out and the Nuggets offense has improved lately hence the Over being 5-0 in Denver’s last five as a favorite.

It would take a career game from Nets PG Patty Mills, a throwback performance out of Blake Griffin and a complete no-show from the Nuggets for Brooklyn to have any shot in this one.

Over/Under

No total listed at the time of publishing. You might not see a total until closer to game time when there’s more clarity on who’s available to play.
