Brooklyn Nets at Milwaukee Bucks odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Wednesday’s Brooklyn Nets at Milwaukee Bucks odds and lines, with NBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The Brooklyn Nets (1-2) will take on the Milwaukee Bucks (2-0)  Wednesday at the Fiserv Forum. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET (ESPN). Below, we analyze Tipico Sportsbook’s lines around the Nets vs. Bucks odds, and make our expert NBA picks and predictions.

The Nets are coming off a 134-124 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday as they failed to cover the 1-point spread on the road. Brooklyn has now lost 2 of its first 3 games of the season by double-digits despite having G Kyrie Irving and F Kevin Durant on the floor together.

The Bucks haven’t played since a 125-105 victory over the Houston Rockets on Saturday as 13-point favorites at home. F Giannis Antetokounmpo has gotten off to a hot start with 32.5 points, 12.5 rebounds, 5.5 assists, and 1.5 blocks per game on 70.3% shooting from the field.

Nets at Bucks picks and predictions

Prediction

Bucks 112, Nets 105

Moneyline

Just PASS on the moneyline in this game despite the expectation of the Bucks winning at home. Milwaukee’s odds aren’t currently at a spot where I feel comfortable taking them straight up, though, I’m fine inserting the Bucks into a parlay.

Against the spread

Even with Milwaukee being without Middleton, I’ll take BUCKS -3.5 (-117) with how Brooklyn has looked to begin the season. The Nets need to figure out how to incorporate G Ben Simmons into the lineup and I don’t believe they figure it out Wednesday.

Brooklyn is 1-5 ATS in its last 6 games overall and 2-5 ATS in the last 7 road meetings against Milwaukee. Meanwhile, the Bucks are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games against a team with a losing record.

Over/Under

UNDER 232.5 (-105) is where I’m leaning in this game with it being a lofty total despite Middleton being sidelined for the Bucks. These 2 teams have capable scorers on the floor still, but they are both bottom 10 teams in pace to begin the season.

The Under is 6-1 in the last 7 meetings between the Nets and the Bucks when the game is in Milwaukee. The Under is also 10-2-1 in the last 13 meetings overall.
