LeBron James was hyped to share classic 2Pac with son Bronny

LeBron James was excited to share some classic 2Pac with his son Bronny on a pre-Thanksgiving workout.

The holidays are a special time to bond with your family. Even in these times, it’s important to share special moments with the ones that you love. And sometimes for those of us who are older, it’s important to show the younger generation why we love the things we love. For LeBron James, the day before Thanksgiving was about giving his son Bronny a lesson in one of the greatest rappers to ever live: Tupac Shakur.

LeBron James shared on both Twitter and Instagram about how happy he was to be able to share the album “Makaveli” from 2Pac with his eldest son Bronny.

LeBron also shared some moments of him and Bronny together during their workout on the night before Thanksgiving.

LeBron has slowly been showing fans more of his workouts over the last few weeks as he continues to prepare for the coming season. Bronny himself is also playing right now so it makes sense to make some bonding time out of trying to keep getting better.

It has been a rare treat for Michigan State Basketball fans that they have gotten the chance to watch two of their recruits, Emoni Bates and Jaden Akins, play on national TV this fall. Bates, Akins and Yspi Prep were recently showcased on ESPN2 against Chet Holmgren’s AAU team Team Sizzle.

Bates and Akins were scheduled to play another high-profile game on national TV this Friday against Lebron “Bronny” James Jr., the already-famous son of Lebron James. Unfortunately, that game has been postponed due to COVID-19 concerns.

The Allen Event Center released this statement on Thursday morning:

“The health and safety of the players, coaches, fans and staff is our utmost priority, and with increased travel concerns, we believe it is in everyone’s best interest to postpone the event to a safer time,” the statement from the Allen Event Center read.

Bronny James and CBC fall to Air Nado after Jaden Hardy’s 39 points

Bronny James and his Sierra Canyon squad played against one of the best players in the nation in a great game.

Last night was a great night of basketball for hoops starved fans waiting to look for a glimpse of the talent projected to arrive in the NBA in the coming years. The main event was the showdown between No. 1 2021 recruit Chet Holmgren’s Team Sizzle against No. 1 2022 recruit, Emoni Bates, who some say is the best player in the high school basketball period. The nightcap featured Bronny James and his Sierra Canyon squad, playing as the AAU squad CBC to get around restrictions currently limiting school-sanctioned hoops, were in a classic against Air Nado out of Nevada.

While Bronny had some moments, both running the show as the point guard and letting it rain from the beyond the 3-point line, including a buzzer-beater, his squad was bested by five-star recruit Jaden Hardy, who had 39 points to lead all scorers for Air Nado.

Hardy, according to 247Sports, is drawing attention from Kentucky, Oregon, and UCLA.

[jwplayer 00MM35Pg-z6KDnl0B]

For a while, it was looking like the showdown between Emoni Bates’ Ypsi Prep and Bronny James CBC on Nov. 21 would be the biggest basketball news when it happens but even as it will now be happening in the midst of what projects to be a chaotic NBA free agency, the game is going to be broadcast to a national audience.

Adam Zagoria, writing for ZagsBlog, reported earlier this week that the Bates-Bronny showdown in Texas scheduled for a few days from now will air on Fox Sports 1. Bronny’s teammate Amari Bailey is the No. 4 ranked recruit in the class of 2022.

The game is part of a tournament that is sponsored, in part, by Lakers guard Danny Green. It remains to be seen whether LeBron himself will go to the game, or how many people will be allowed to watch the game, given the current state of the pandemic.

NBA free agency starts on Nov. 20 at 6 p.m. Eastern Time.

LeBron James shows off incredible dunk from son Bronny

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James showed that his son’s hops have gone up to the next level since last season.

Happy Halloween, opposing high school, basketball teams! LeBron James has something that may frighten opponents of Sierra Canyon’s boys’ basketball team this All Hallows Eve.

We already know that LeBron loves Halloween and his family does too, as we saw LeBron and his daughter Zhuri unveil a haunted house. But on the actual holiday, James shared a video from a workout of his oldest son, Bronny James, who is entering his sophomore year at Sierra Canyon. Bronny could already dunk pretty easily but his hops are getting up to a higher level as he continues to grow. Bron showed off his son’s hops are so good that he’s able to throw down a very difficult dunk with the assist of a teammate.

Bronny played a lot for Sierra Canyon last year on a stacked team, mostly coming off the bench, but he will likely have a bigger role in year 2 at the high school level.

LeBron James was hyping up his son Bryce’s post moves on Sunday

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James was hyping up the play of his youngest son Bryce last season.

While Bronny James, as LeBron’s eldest son, generates a great deal of hype with his play on the court and the packed gyms that used to follow his teams before the pandemic hit, LeBron’s youngest son also has some skills. On Sunday, the folks at SLAM posted a video of Bryce Maximus James doing work on the court, including some slick post moves. While his Dad has developed a game in the post but Bronny is showing some Kevin McHale like footwork at a very young age, which his Dad is hyping up as “only the beginning.” Bryce is 13 years old and his skills extend beyond the incredible impersonation of his father.

It’s unclear what will happen with high school sports across the country but Sierra Canyon does have some games scheduled for this fall already, including a marquee matchup against No. 1 ranked recruit Emoni Bates in Dallas, Texas. The matchup is part of a tournament put on by Lakers guard Danny Green.

Bronny James to face Emoni Bates in showcase game sponsored by Danny Green

Bronny James and Sierra Canyon will face off against the highest-rated high school player in the country, Emoni Bates in late November.

With the NBA’s owners apparently uniting around the pursuit of a 2020-21 season around Christmas, the rest of the basketball world is getting ready to start in the late fall like they usually do. Included in the rest of the basketball world is high school basketball at some levels, including Bronny James and the Sierra Canyon Trail Blazers. As one of the highest-ranked teams in the nation, they will take the court again soon and they will have a highly-anticipated showdown against the most hyped high school basketball player in some time.

Adam Zagoria reported for Forbes that Bronny James and the Sierra Canyon Trail Blazers will face off against No. 1 ranked high school player Emoni Bates and Ypsi Prep (Michigan) in the Green and Gold Level Sports & Entertainment Showcase in Dallas, Texas, sponsored by LeBron’s Lakers teammate Danny Green. Green told Forbes he hopes he and LeBron can both attend the game.

“I think so since we’re not playing, we don’t have much else going on,” Green, who has won NBA titles with the Lakers, Raptors and Spurs, said in a phone interview. “It would be nice, I hope we will both be able to make it out there.”

Sierra Canyon advanced to the State Final in 2020 but the final game was stopped due to the coronavirus.
