How to download (free) tickets to attend Broncos training camp

Broncos fans need to download (free) tickets to attend training camp. The tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Denver Broncos announced their 2024 training camp schedule on Wednesday, including 16 practices open to fans. Because their facility has a 3,000 capacity limit, the Broncos will require fans to download free tickets to attend the open practices.

The tickets will become available on Ticketmaster beginning at 10:00 a.m. MT on Thursday for non-season ticket holders (fans who are season ticket holders will get an email on Wednesday).

Fans can claim up to four tickets for up to eight practice sessions on a first-come, first-served basis. After 48 hours, fans will be allowed to claim up to four tickets for additional practice days if they are still available.

The tickets were claimed quickly last year, so fans hoping to attend this summer will need to act fast when the window opens on Thursday.

Broncos increasing ticket prices by 7.9% in 2024

Coming off their eighth straight season of missing the playoffs, the Broncos are increasing ticket prices by nearly 8% in 2024.

Despite missing the playoffs for an eighth straight year and posting a losing record for a seventh straight season, the Denver Broncos are raising their ticket prices ahead of the 2024 campaign.

The Broncos started their season ticket renewal process last week and fans were informed that prices are increasing by an average of about 7.9% in 2024, according to KUSA-TV’s Mike Klis.

This comes after the team increased prices by more than 13% in 2023. So over the last two years, season ticket holders have seen their cost increase by an average of more than 20%.

Some fans have decided to opt out because of the increasing cost.

“I’m out after 27 years. Not renewing,” @bordesa1 wrote on Twitter/X last week. “Small increase here, another there….no big deal, right? Well…since 2016, the first Post-PFM Year of Suck, my cost is up 34%.”

The Broncos, of course, aren’t hurt by fans opting out because the club has a 100,000-person waitlist of fans hoping to one day buy season tickets.

The average price per game for 2024 season tickets is about $143. The average price per ticket was about $132 last year. One day, Denver’s increases might price too many fans out. For now, though, the waitlist demonstrates that the demand is there, and the Broncos will exploit it.

Broncos’ resale ticket prices rank near middle of NFL, up 94% percent from last year

The average price of a Broncos ticket on the resale market is $349, which ranks 15th in the NFL and marks a 94% increase from last year.

Despite seven-straight seasons without a playoff berth and six-straight seasons with a losing record, the Denver Broncos have not lost the support of their loyal fans.

The Broncos have sold out every home game dating back to 1970. Consequently, fans looking for tickets on the resale market have to pay above face value to attend games at Empower Field at Mile High.

Denver’s resale ticket price ranks near the middle of the NFL. The average price of a Broncos ticket on the secondary market this season is $349, which ranks 15th in the NFL (and third in the AFC West).

According to figures from TicketSmarter, the average price of a resale ticket to a Denver game was just $179 in 2022. Following the arrival of new coach Sean Payton, the average price is now $349, marking a 94% increase on the secondary market from last year.

Broncos increase ticket prices by average of more than 13%

The Broncos are increasing their average ticket price from $116.15 to $132.05 in 2023.

Denver Broncos season tickets will see a significant price increase in 2023.

Last year, the Broncos’ average ticket price was $116.15. This season, the average price will increase to $132.05, according to KUSA-TV’s Mike Klis. That additional $15.90 per game represents a 13.689% increase.

Denver has credited the increase in price in part to a “market” adjustment. Broncos tickets sold for an average of 40% more on the secondary market than their average price of $116.15 in 2022.

Of course, secondary market tickets for NFL teams are usually higher than direct-from-team tickets, but Denver used that as part of their explanation for the increase. The Broncos have sold out every game dating back to 1970, so the club knows there’s enough demand for fans to continue paying even as the ticket prices continue going up.

Denver also has a 50,000-name wait list for season tickets.

The Broncos’ list of opponents for the 2023 season includes hosting the New England Patriots, New York Jets, Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, Washington Commanders and Cleveland Browns at Empower Field at Mile High. Denver will also host each AFC West team this fall.
