Broncos release depth chart for Week 5 game vs. Raiders

Here’s a look at the Broncos’ depth chart for Sunday’s game against the Raiders.

After making two changes to their practice squad earlier this week, the Denver Broncos have released their updated depth chart ahead of Sunday’s game against the Las Vegas Raiders.

After losing linebacker Alex Singleton to a torn ACL, Justin Strnad is the next man up at inside linebacker. Right now, Kristian Welch is listed as the backup for both ILB spots, but the team elevated Levelle Bailey from the practice squad to the game-day roster last week.

NFL teams can also call up two players from the practice squad to the game-day roster each week. Bailey might be a candidate to get elevated again in Week 5.

Here’s a look at the Broncos’ depth chart going into Sunday’s game.

Broncos’ depth chart for Week 4 road game vs. Jets

Here’s a look at the Broncos’ updated depth chart for Sunday’s game against the Jets.

After making several roster moves last week, the Denver Broncos have released an updated depth chart for their Week 4 showdown with the New York Jets on Sunday.

The Broncos placed linebacker Alex Singleton (ACL) on injured reserve last Wednesday. They filled his former roster spot by promoting running back Tyler Badie from the practice squad to the 53-man roster. Badie becomes the team’s new third-string running back.

Singleton’s replacement remains to be seen. By simply removing Singleton from the depth chart, Justin Strnad is listed as the next man up, but it’s unclear if he will start against the Jets.

Note that NFL teams can also call up two players from the practice squad to the game-day roster each week. This week, Denver elevated

Broncos release depth chart for Week 4 vs. Jets

The Broncos have released their depth chart ahead of Sunday’s game against the Jets.

After making several roster moves last week, the Denver Broncos have released an updated depth chart ahead of their Week 4 showdown with the New York Jets on Sunday.

Last week, the Broncos placed right tackle Mike McGlinchey (MCL) and outside linebacker Baron Browning (foot) on injured reserve, ruling them out for at least four games.

To fill the roster spots formerly held by McGlinchey and Browning, Denver promoted pass rusher Dondrea Tillman and wide receiver Lil’Jordan Humphrey from the practice squad to the active roster.

Note that the team can also call up two players from the practice squad to the game-day roster each week. We’ll find out on Saturday if the Broncos plan to elevate any players in Week 4.

After making a few changes to the 53-man roster last week, the Denver Broncos have an updated depth chart for their Week 3 showdown with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday.

The Broncos placed right tackle Mike McGlinchey (MCL) on injured reserve last week and filled his former spot on the active roster by calling up pass rusher Dondrea Tillman from the practice squad.

Denver also placed outside linebacker Baron Browning (foot) on IR and filled his active roster spot by promoting practice squad wide receiver Lil’Jordan Humphrey.

Note that the team can call up two players from the practice squad to the game-day roster each week. This week, the team elevated running back Tyler Badie and defensive back Tanner McCalister.

Broncos’ updated Week 3 depth chart after roster moves

After making two changes to the active roster, the Broncos have an updated depth chart for their showdown with the Bucs in Week 3.

The Broncos placed right tackle Mike McGlinchey (MCL) on injured reserve this week and filled his former spot on the active roster by calling up pass rusher Dondrea Tillman from the practice squad.

Denver coach Sean Payton said after Wednesday’s practice that Alex Palczewski will be the next man up at right tackle.

Note that the team lists wide receiver Lil’Jordan Humphrey on the depth chart even though he’s currently on the practice squad. We have his name in brackets to reflect his practice squad status.

Broncos’ depth chart for Week 2 of 2024 NFL season

Here’s a look at the Broncos’ depth chart for today’s game against the Steelers.

The Denver Broncos are set to host the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 2 of the 2024 NFL season.

The Broncos have made no lineup changes to their depth chart, but running back Audric Estime was placed on injured reserve and fullback Michael Burton was promoted from the practice squad to the active roster last week.

Estime going on IR bumps Blake Watson up to RB3. Burton’s promotion does not impact the depth chart because he was listed as the team’s starting fullback even while he was on the practice squad.

Here’s a look at Denver’s depth chart going into Sunday’s game.

Broncos release depth chart for Week 2 vs. Steelers

The Broncos did not make any official changes to their depth chart this week, but a few snap count trends are worth monitoring.

Following their 26-20 loss to the Seattle Seahawks in Week 1, the Denver Broncos are now set to host the Pittsburgh Steelers this weekend.

Ahead of Sunday’s showdown, the Broncos have released their depth chart for Week 2, featuring no changes from last week.

While no official changes have been made to the starting lineup, it’s worth noting that wide receiver Devaughn Vele (34 snaps) was more involved than Lil’Jordan Humphrey (21 snaps) and Marvin Mims (12 snaps) in Week 1. Humphrey is listed on the depth chart despite being a practice squad player.

On defense, linebacker Kristian Welch (19 snaps) took playing time away from Cody Barton (24 snaps) on Sunday (Alex Singleton played all 67 snaps). It will be interesting to see if Welch’s role continues to expand.

Broncos depth chart for Week 1 of 2024 NFL season

Here is the Broncos’ depth chart for today’s game against the Seahawks.

With the 53-man roster set, the Denver Broncos are ready for their Week 1 showdown with the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday.

The depth chart has few surprises — Jarrett Stidham is the backup quarterback above Zach Wilson, and Riley Moss is listed as a starting cornerback across from Pat Surtain. Both were expected.

Even though we have now reached the regular season, the Broncos still call this their “unofficial” depth chart, so take it with a grain of salt. It seems to be mostly accurate for how the rotations break down, so here’s a look at the depth chart going into Week 1.

Broncos’ projected depth chart with practice squad players included

What would the Broncos’ depth chart look like with practice squad and injured players included? Here’s our projection.

The Denver Broncos released their updated depth chart for Week 1 of the 2024 NFL season on Wednesday afternoon.

There were no big surprises (Jarrett Stidham getting the QB2 nod over Zach Wilson is not a big surprise), but there were two interesting names included.

Broncos fullback Michael Burton and wide receiver Lil’Jordan Humphrey both made the depth chart despite currently being on the 17-player practice squad. That’s likely a good sign that they will be elevated to the game-day roster for Sunday’s showdown with the Seattle Seahawks.

So, what would the depth chart look like if all of the practice squad players were included? And how about the injured players who could return later this year? You can check out our projection below.

Keep in mind that this is a projection — not an official depth chart.

The Broncos have updated their depth chart ahead of the 2024 NFL season. View all of the starters here.

With the 53-man roster set, the Denver Broncos have released their updated depth chart for the 2024 NFL season.

After previously naming Bo Nix their starting quarterback, the Broncos have now declared starters at inside linebacker and cornerback following position battles this summer. Cody Barton will start next to Alex Singleton at ILB and Riley Moss will start across from Pat Surtain at CB.

Marvin Mims is listed as the team’s primary kickoff and punt returner with Tremon Smith and Jaleel McLaughlin providing depth behind him.

Two players — Michael Burton and Lil’Jordan Humphrey — made the depth chart despite currently being on the 17-player practice squad. We have them listed in brackets below to reflect that they are not currently on the active roster.
