Saints vs. Falcons broadcast map: Will your local station tune in?

Saints vs. Falcons broadcast map: Will your local station tune in for Week 1’s big rivalry game?

Will your local FOX affiliate carry the New Orleans Saints’ regular season opener? The black and gold are visiting the Atlanta Falcons for an always-heated rivalry game, and the NFC South showdown is going to be broadcast across a wide swath of SEC country. Former Saints linebacker Jonathan Vilma is on the call for FOX Sports, with kickoff scheduled for noon CT/1 p.m. ET on Sunday, Sept. 11.

And stations from south Texas to the North Carolina-Virginia border will be prioritizing the game, with all of Louisiana, Alabama, Georgia, and South Carolina getting in on the action. Most of Arkansas, North Carolina, and large parts of Tennessee and Florida will also be in on it.

That’s not too surprising. The Saints always draw a strong crowd; and hapless as they may be, the Falcons do often seem to match New Orleans’ energy here. The football-crazed Southeast embraces the rivalry as eagerly as both teams do themselves. So it’s a safe bet that a lot of eyes will be drawn to Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta this Sunday. For reference, areas in green will catch the Saints-Falcons tilt, while those in other colors are receiving different games. Check the broadcast map from 506sports.com:

And here’s your color-coded key:

  • Red: San Francisco 49ers at Chicago Bears
  • Blue: Philadelphia Eagles at Detroit Lions
  • Yellow: Jacksonville Jaguars at Washington Commanders

Other games being shown in the New Orleans media market this week include Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals’ home opener with the Pittsburgh Steelers at noon CT, followed by the Kansas City Chiefs’ road trip to visit the Arizona Cardinals (both on CBS). After the Saints and Falcons wrap up business, FOX will carry the Green Bay Packers-Minnesota Vikings kickoff in the late afternoon spot.

This week’s national broadcasts feature the Buffalo Bills and Los Angeles Rams (on Thursday night on NBC), the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Dallas Cowboys (Sunday night on NBC), and the Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks (Monday night on ESPN and ABC). We’ve got a loaded slate ahead of us. Let’s see if the Saints can kick it all off with a win.

If you’re in the green, you’ll get Colts vs. Texans on TV

Those in the green will get Colts vs. Texans on TV in Week 6.

The Indianapolis Colts (1-4) and Houston Texans (1-4) are battling for second place in the division during the Week 6 matchup at Lucas Oil Stadium on Sunday.

Getting the call on Sunday will Spero Dedes (play-by-play) and Adam Archuleta (color analyst).

Both the Colts and Texans have had their struggles this season. The Colts lost their first three games in a row, snapped that losing streak with a win over the Dolphins and then lost a heartbreaker on Monday night football to the Ravens in what was an epic collapse.

Meanwhile, the Texans came out hot with an upset victory over Trevor Lawrence and the Jaguars but have lost the four games to follow.

Here’s the broadcast map for Bears vs. Browns in Week 3

The Bears will face the Browns in Week 3. See if the Bears be on in your part of the country.

The Chicago Bears will battle the Cleveland Browns on Sunday, where rookie quarterback Justin Fields will make his first NFL start.

The Bears are coming off a 20-17 win over the Cincinnati Bengals, where Chicago’s defense amassed four takeaways en route to their first win of the season. The Bears offense only scored one touchdown in the win, and all eyes will be on them as Fields gets a full week of preparation as the starter and with a game plan in place.

Will the Bears be on in your part of the country?

If you live in the red area of the map, you’ll be able to watch Bears-Browns locally at Noon CT on FOX (via 506sports.com).

Most of the country will get the Bears-Browns game. Others will get the Saints-Patriots (green), Washington-Bills (yellow), Falcons-Giants (blue) and Cardinals-Jaguars (orange) as part of the early slate of FOX games.

Kevin Burkhardt and Greg Olsen will be on the Bears-Browns call for FOX.

The Bears and Browns kick things off Sunday at Noon on FOX.

If you’re in the green, you’ll get Colts vs. Jaguars on TV

TV map in Week 17.

The Indianapolis Colts (10-5) will be hosting the Jacksonville Jaguars (1-14) on Sunday at Lucas Oil Stadium to wrap up the 2020 regular season.

Though they will be without starting left tackle Anthony Castonzo, the Colts opened the week at 15-point favorites. They need a win and some outside help in order to make the playoffs despite the potential to finish with 11 wins.

Those in the green region of the TV map will get the divisional game on CBS, per 506 Sports.

Getting the call will be Andrew Catalon (play-by-play) and James Lofton (color commentary) as a part of the CBS crew.

The game got flexed to 4:25 p.m. ET so the Colts may know their chances of making the playoffs by the time their kickoff rolls around.

If you’re in the red, you’ll get Colts vs. Steelers on TV

Broadcast map for Week 16.

The Indianapolis Colts (10-4) and Pittsburgh Steelers (11-3) are preparing for a crucial matchup with heavy playoff implications at Heinz Field on Sunday.

This is the biggest game of the Colts’ season to date, and the networks are treating it as such. The Colts and Steelers will get the A-team from CBS with the most coverage among the early games.

Those in the red region of the broadcast map will get the game on the local CBS channel, per 506 Sports.

(Courtesy of 506 Sports)

Getting the call will for CBS will be Jim Nantz (play-by-play), Tony Romo (color commentary) and Tracy Wolfson (sideline). Finally, the Colts are getting arguably the best commentating crew in the business.

This is a huge game for both teams. The Colts are trying to keep pace in the AFC playoff picture as the No. 6 seed but winning out might be their only way into the playoffs. Meanwhile, the Steelers have clinched but are enduring a three-game slide that has many wondering whether they are pretenders.

This game will have massive implications with two weeks remaining until the end of the regular season, and those in the red region of the broadcast map will get to watch it locally.

Chiefs vs. Buccaneers broadcast map: Will you be able to watch on TV?

Unless you live in Denver, Colorado and the surrounding areas, you’ll get the Kansas City Chiefs game on Sunday.

The Kansas City Chiefs (9-1) will face off with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (7-4) at Raymond James Stadium on Sunday, Nov. 29 at  3:25 p.m. CT. The game will be shown on CBS and in-market fans can stream the game on Fubo.TV (try it for free).

Jim Nantz and Tony Romo are on the call for the Chiefs again, marking the third time this year. Kansas City actually has a 9-2 record since 2018, when Nantz and Romo are on the call.

So will you be able to watch it on TV? The answer is most likely, yes. If you live in the red areas on the map below you’ll get this game on your local CBS channels, according to 506sports.com:

via 506Sports.com

Nearly the entire country will get this game on their local CBS stations, with the exception of Denver, Colorado and the surrounding areas due to “NFL contractual obligations.” There aren’t any other games on CBS during the late slate on Sunday, but there are two other games on Fox kicking off at 3:05 p.m. CT.

This is one of the biggest matchups of the year, so it’s not surprising to see the entire country lit up on the broadcast map. Patrick Mahomes is set to take on Tom Brady for the fourth time since 2018. The big difference in this game is that Brady is out of his element, playing for a new team for the first time ever.

As non-conference opponents, these two teams don’t play each other often, with the last matchup coming in 2016 at Arrowhead Stadium. How will the two teams match up against each other? Will the Chiefs continue their win streak or will the Bucs get back in the win column in Week 12? Be sure to tune in and find out!

If you’re in the red, you’ll see Ravens vs. Steelers on CBS in Week 8

Most of the country will be able to see the Baltimore Ravens take on the Pittsburgh Steelers, according to the NFL Week 8 broadcast map.

I contend there isn’t a single other game on this week that can top the intensity and intrigue the Baltimore Ravens vs. Pittsburgh Steelers represents. As newcomer Calais Campbell noted recently, there isn’t a bigger rivalry than these two teams. And with the top of the AFC North up for grabs today, there’s a ton of counting on the outcome of this game.

CBS must have agreed with that assessment, because they’re showing the Ravens vs. Steelers matchup in a good portion of the country, according to 506Sports. If you’re in the red, you’ll see Baltimore host Pittsburgh in Week 8.

Pittsburgh @ Baltimore

Ravens games have been kept fairly local this season, which has meant fans across the country haven’t been able to watch as easily. This week won’t be quite the same problem as most of the coastal regions will be broadcasting the game. That gives Baltimore a prime opportunity to not only further themselves within the division and toward the playoffs, but do so in front of a massive audience.
