The DODGERS (-115) are a strong play at home in this marquee matchup at Chavez Ravine despite the fact L.A. struggled with the Braves last season.

The difference here is starting pitching as Stone looked to build off a tremendous performance last time out in Toronto when he posted a quality start. The 40-year-old Morton cannot be trusted, especially on the road.

Run line/Against the spread

The Dodgers +1.5 (-185) are too expensive on the run line if you require insurance, and you just can’t bring yourself to play Los Angeles straight up for some reason.

However, AVOID. The moneyline is a better and much cheaper play.

Over/Under

UNDER 9.5 (-115) is a rather high number, but the books might have bumped things up a bit due to Morton’s struggles on the road, his awful career numbers against L.A. and Stone’s home ERA so far.

Run line/Against the spread

The BRAVES -1.5 (+150) are a decent play on the run line in this road series finale. Atlanta has not only won 6 in a row, and 10 of its last 11, but the Braves have won 5 of the last 6 games by 2 or more runs.

On the flip side, the Dodgers +1.5 (-185) have lost just 8 times since July 29. But in those setbacks, Los Angeles has lost by 2 or more runs 7 times. If you like Los Angeles to lose again, you should like it to fall by 2 or more runs, too.

Over/Under

UNDER 9.5 (-120) is the lean in this matinee series finale.

The Over cashed in the 1st 2 games of the series, but we had a well-pitched game with a total of just 6 runs on Saturday afternoon. We should see similar performances on Sunday, as Morton has been consistent all season. The concern is whether or not Miller can keep the Atlanta offense down.
