Tom Brady cracks a joke about his age in recent Instagram post

Bucs QB Tom Brady will be 43 years old when the 2020 kicks off, which makes this Instagram post all the more funny.

Bucs QB Tom Brady will be looked upon to help guide the franchise back to the postseason for the first time since 2007. What many people may tend to forget, though, is that the six-time Super Bowl champion will be 43 years old when the season begins.

While Brady still seems as sharp as a tack, both mentally and physically, Father Time is undefeated. The Bucs are hoping Brady can stave off the inevitable decline for at least two more years.

The quarterback seemingly cracked a joke at his own age (and play style) by posting the below image and caption on Instagram.

Year of the mobile quarterback…

A post shared by Tom Brady (@tombrady) on

Remember, some people believe part of the reason Patriots head coach Bill Belichick let Brady go was because he wanted a more mobile and athletic quarterback like we’re seeing in the NFL today with guys like Patrick Mahomes and Lamar Jackson. Perhaps that’s why the Patriots rolled the dice with Cam Newton.

So, any chance Brady has more rushing yards with the Bucs than Newton has with the Patriots?

Tom Brady is here to remind you to ‘keep going’

Bucs QB Tom Brady provided a little motivation on Instagram for his followers.

Tom Brady is experiencing an offseason unlike any before. The former New England Patriot, who compiled a Hall of Fame-worthy resume over the course of his 20-year run with the team, signed with Tampa Bay as a free agent, but due to the coronavirus pandemic hasn’t been able to work with all of his new teammates yet.

Still, the new Bucs signal caller has already been making a positive impact on the Tampa community, even donating meals to families in need during the crisis. And Brady, like many NFL players, has been speaking out in the aftermath of George Floyd’s death, seeking justice and change.

The six-time Super Bowl champion took to Instagram on Monday to provide some much needed motivation to his followers.

Tom Brady pays his respects to Reche Caldwell after the receiver’s death

Tom Brady took to Instagram to pay his respects to former teammate Reche Caldwell, who was shot and killed in Tampa on Saturday night.

The football world is reeling from the news that former NFL wide receiver Reche Caldwell was shot and killed in Tampa on Saturday night.

Brady, who was the Patriots’ quarterback in 2006 when Caldwell was on the team, took to Instagram today to pay his respects to his former teammate.

Take a look.

While Caldwell had a strong regular season with the Patriots that year, he had a disastrous performance in the 2006 AFC Championship Game against the Indianapolis Colts, making several untimely mistakes that ultimately cost the Patriots a shot at another Super Bowl appearance.

Unfortunately, Caldwell’s mistakes in that game haunted him for the rest of his life, which took a troubling turn post-football and ultimately ended in tragedy.

Tom Brady is grateful for those Florida sunsets

Buccaneers QB Tom Brady took to Instagram to show his appreciation for those beautiful Florida sunsets.

Tom Brady has been hitting the field recently with his new Buccaneers teammates for some informal workouts, hoping to develop a rapport with the players who will be tasked with helping him win his seventh Super Bowl ring.

The coronavirus pandemic has made this offseason a challenging one for all players, but for Brady it is imperative he get on the same page with his new receivers. While it may be a stressful time for all trying to adjust to this new social distancing lifestyle, it seems Brady is still loving life in the Sunshine State, taking to Instagram recently to post an image of a beautiful Tampa sunset.

Take a look.

Tom Brady shows Julian Edelman love on Instagram

Bucs QB Tom Brady took to Instagram to wish his former Patriots teammate Julian Edelman a happy birthday.

Bucs QB Tom Brady has been all about love recently. Last week, he posted a happy birthday message on Instagram to tight end Rob Gronkowski, who will be joining him in Tampa this season. This week, he gave a shoutout to his offensive linemen, both past and present.

Today, Brady is back at, this time wishing a happy birthday to buddy and former Patriots teammate Julian Edelman.

Take a look at this screenshot from Brady’s Instagram story.

Edelman, of course, won three Super Bowls with Brady, and may be remembered best for this ridiculous catch in Super Bowl LI against the Atlanta Falcons.

Tom Brady says ‘boys will be boys’ following informal workout with teammates

Bucs QB Tom Brady recently hit the field at a Tampa prep school with a few teammates. See what Brady had to say about it on Instagram.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady hit the field at a Tampa prep school yesterday with a few of his teammates to hold an informal workout. Given that the global pandemic has prevented players from getting into team facilities, they had to make do with what they could.

The workout gave Bucs fans their first chance to see Brady wearing a Tampa Bay helmet, but some may have found it questionable for the group to be working out together given social distancing norms.

Brady, it seems, isn’t worried about any criticism. For him, the workout means he’s one step closer to getting himself and his team ready for the 2020 season.

Take a look at this screenshot from Brady’s Instagram story.

Sorry not sorry.

Tom Brady pays homage to his offensive linemen, both past and present

Bucs QB Tom Brady took to Instagram to show respect to his offensive linemen over the years.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers traded up a spot in last month’s NFL draft to select Iowa offensive tackle Tristan Wirfs with the 13th pick.

The Bucs were determined to walk away with one of the draft’s top-rated tackles given that Tom Brady will be taking over the reigns of the offense in 2020. The Buccaneers allowed Jameis Winston to be sacked 47 times last year, while Brady was only sacked 27 times with the Patriots.

The future Hall of Famer knows the importance of having strong linemen up front, and took to Instagram yesterday to pay homage to his linemen both past and present.

Take a look at some screenshots from his Instagram story.

The linemen featured are Matt Light and Marcus Cannon of the Patriots and Logan Mankins and Donovan Smith of the Bucs. Mankins actually played with Brady for years in New England before joining the Buccaneers.

Tom Brady comes to Josh McDaniels’ defense on Instagram

Bucs QB Tom Brady took to Instagram today to defend his relationship with former Patriots OC Josh McDaniels.

Tom Brady left the New England Patriots this offseason after a 20-year run, and many wonder whether his relationship with Bill Belichick had finally run its course. But now recent reports seem to suggest it was Brady’s relationship with Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels that may have played a role in his decision to leave.

Per CBS Sports:

“According to Gary Myers, formerly of the New York Daily News, Brady’s ‘deteriorating relationship’ with Josh McDaniels was part of the reason why the quarterback left for Tampa Bay in free agency earlier this offseason. Myers notes that Brady was ‘worn out by Josh after all these years’ and wanted to have more input into the game plan.”

Brady was quick to come to McDaniels’ defense and condemn the report, posting the below image on his Instagram story.

I think we all owe Brady the benefit of the doubt on this one. He and McDaniels had a run of great success together in New England, culminating in Super Bowl wins and numerous winning seasons. Plus, Brady made his love for McDaniels “Instagram official.” No take backs.

Tom Brady wishes his dad a happy birthday on Instagram

Bucs QB Tom Brady took to Instagram to wish his father a happy birthday.

Tom Brady may very well be the greatest quarterback to ever play the game, but as famous as the six-time Super Bowl champion is around the world, he’ll always be the junior Tom Brady in his family. That’s because his father, Tom Brady Sr., holds the title of family patriarch.

The Bucs quarterback, whose postgame Super Bowl celebration always include his family, took to Instagram yesterday to wish his father a very happy birthday.

Take a look.

Brady (Jr.) also posted a happy anniversary message to his parents last month, showing off the generations of the Brady clan.

It’s pizza night at the Brady house

Tom Brady took to Instagram to show he and his family enjoying a little pizza night.

The coronavirus pandemic has put daily life on hold for the world, including nights out at our favorite haunts.

But, you can still support restaurants by ordering in, and it seems Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady is doing just that by having a pizza night with his family.

Take a look.

Yeah, that pizza looks insanely good. What I’m wondering, though, is how many slices Mr. TB12 ate, given his insanely strict diet?
