Tom Brady says ‘boys will be boys’ following informal workout with teammates

Bucs QB Tom Brady recently hit the field at a Tampa prep school with a few teammates. See what Brady had to say about it on Instagram.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady hit the field at a Tampa prep school yesterday with a few of his teammates to hold an informal workout. Given that the global pandemic has prevented players from getting into team facilities, they had to make do with what they could.

The workout gave Bucs fans their first chance to see Brady wearing a Tampa Bay helmet, but some may have found it questionable for the group to be working out together given social distancing norms.

Brady, it seems, isn’t worried about any criticism. For him, the workout means he’s one step closer to getting himself and his team ready for the 2020 season.

Take a look at this screenshot from Brady’s Instagram story.

Sorry not sorry.

5 Bucs legends wearing different helmets

Tom Brady in a Bucs helmet may seem strange for Patriots fans, but here’s a look at 5 Bucs legends wearing different helmets.

After nearly two months, we finally caught our first glimpse at Tom Brady on the football field wearing a Bucs helmet.

The six-time Super Bowl champion signed with Tampa Bay back in March after ending his 20-year run with the Patriots. But with the coronavirus pandemic putting life on hold, we hadn’t seen Brady in a Bucs helmet or on the practice field.

While it may seem strange for Patriots fans to see their beloved quarterback donning a different helmet, Bucs fans can certainly relate. Here’s a look at five Bucs legends wearing helmets of different teams.

Tom Brady goes full Jordan meme in this hilarious tweet

Bucs QB Tom Brady couldn’t help but reply on Twitter to this hilarious ESPN post.

Yeah, 2020 hasn’t exactly been the year many people imagined. We were supposed to have flying cars and cool robots by now. Instead, well, you know…

ESPN put things into perspective with this solid meme they made and tweeted out, referencing the shocking 28-3 comeback win by the Patriots in Super Bowl LI over the Falcons.

Brady, himself, found the post hysterical, and used a new laughing Jordan meme made popular by “The Last Dance” documentary to respond.

Also, can this further be viewed as Brady throwing some shade towards his new division foe, the Falcons? Unfortunately for fans, we’ll have to wait until Week 15 to see the Bucs and Falcons square off for the first time. That game will take place in Atlanta, with a Week 17 rematch at Raymond James Stadium.

Tom Brady finally hits the field with teammates wearing a Bucs helmet

Here is our first look at Tom Brady hitting the field at a Tampa prep school with some Bucs teammates.

This is the moment we’ve been waiting for — a picture of Tom Brady in a Bucs helmet.

When Brady signed with the Bucs back in March, the coronavirus pandemic had already closed down team facilities, and social distancing restrictions prevented Brady from conducting a standard introductory news conference.

While he sent out a message recently expressing his excitement for being a Buc, we haven’t seen him on the field with his new teammates… until today.

Brady, along with several other Bucs players, hit the field together at Tampa’s Berkeley Preparatory School early this morning. Take a look at some photos below, including a closeup of Brady in his new Bucs helmet.

It’s strange to see Brady wearing a different helmet for sure, but his arrival to Tampa now feels official. It’s also great to see O.J. Howard hitting the field with his teammates. There was worry following the trade for Gronk that Howard may feel slighted and want out. Clearly, he’s on board for the Bucs’ championship run in 2020.
