LeBron James may try to play with both Bryce and Bronny in the NBA, per a new ad

LeBron would turn 43 years old the season Bryce becomes NBA eligible.

LeBron James has made absolutely no secret of the fact that he intends to play in the NBA at the same time as his son, Bronny James. It’s something that LeBron has said on the record for several years now.

Bronny is an incoming freshman at USC and was seen as a potential first-round pick in the 2024 NBA Draft. This summer, however, Bronny suffered a cardiac arrest scare. It is unclear when he will return to the court or how long it will take him until he is ready to turn pro.

Regardless of how long it takes, despite the fact he is already officially the oldest player in the NBA, LeBron may actually intend to play professionally even longer than when Bronny first becomes eligible to turn pro.

That is at least how it seemed in an appearance that LeBron made alongside his family members in a new advertisement for the Beats by Dre headphones.

Between the 1:31 and 1:34 mark of the clip, LeBron’s wife Savannah says the following:

“Tell them you’re not done until you play with your son. Then do that, again.”

During the moment that Savannah says “again” while speaking about playing alongside his son, Bryce James appears on the screen.

Bryce James is 16 years old and will transfer from Sierra Canyon, where his brother played high school basketball, to Notre Dame in Southern California.

While he has already received his first Division-I offer, he is only considered a three-star recruit in the Class of 2025. Even if he were to play only one year of college basketball, he could not turn pro until the 2026 NBA Draft.

That means that LeBron would turn 43 years old during the first season that Bryce could potentially play in the NBA. That doesn’t sound easy for anyone but LeBron has certainly defied expectations before.

Ranking Clemson FB players based on On3’s NIL evaluation

Eighteen Tigers have NIL evaluations in the six figures.

While Clemson hasn’t made the most noise in the name, image and likeness world, the school’s athletes have still taken advantage of the opportunity.

Clemson football players have been in the headlines recently because of their deals. Sophomore quarterback Cade Klubnik signed a deal with Beats by Dre in August. Last month, running back Will Shipley partnered with Chipotle and had the downtown Clemson Chipotle location briefly named “Shipotle.”

Last updated on Wednesday, On3’s NIL evaluation algorithm uses a player’s national licensing and sponsorship market, as well as roster value, to calculate an estimated money amount for that player. Some of the college football players with the top evaluations include Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders, Texas’ Arch Manning and USC’s Caleb Williams.

That said, here are the top Clemson football players with the highest NIL evaluations based on On3’s algorithm:

Watch: Klubnik gives whole Clemson team Beats headphones

Clemson quarterback Cade Klubnik is taking advantage of the NIL game.

Clemson quarterback Cade Klubnik signed an NIL deal with Beats by Dre headphones last week, and now his teammates are reaping the benefits of the deal.

Last week, Beats made it official that Klubnik and 14 other college football stars signed a deal with Beats to NIL deals as a part of their new “Beats Elite” class.

Klubnik is joined by USC QB Caleb Williams, Oregon State and former Clemson QB DJ Uiagalelei, Alabama QB Jalen Milroe, LSU QB Jayden Daniels, Michigan QB J.J. McCarthy, Tennessee QB Joe Milton, Florida State QB Jordan Travis, Alabama DB Kool-Aid McKinstry, Georgia DB Malaki Starks, Washington QB Michael Penix, Penn State RB Nick Singleton, Texas QB Quinn Ewers, Notre Dame QB Sam Hartman and Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders.

Klubnik also has signed NIL deals with Dear Old Clemson and Rhoback.

Here’s the former five-star recruit giving each of his teammates a new set of Beats headphones:

Clemson quarterback Cade Klubnik inks a NIL deal with Beats by Dre

Cade Klubnik and 14 other college football stars sign NIL deals with Beats by Dre.

Clemson quarterback Cade Klubnik signed a few NIL deals over the past few months, with the latest being a deal with Beats by Dre.

Reports released that Klubnik, along with 14 other college football stars, have signed a deal with Beats to NIL deals as a part of their new “Beats Elite” class. Klubnik is joined by USC QB Caleb Williams, former Tiger DJ Uiagalelei, Alabama QB Jalen Milroe, LSU QB Jayden Daniels, Michigan QB J.J. McCarthy, Tennessee QB Joe Milton, Florida State QB Jordan Travis, Alabama DB Kool-Aid McKinstry, Georgia DB Malaki Starks, Washington QB Michael Penix, Penn State RB Nick Singleton, Texas QB Quinn Ewers, Notre Dame QB Sam Hartman and Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders.

“As we’ve worked with our initial college athletes, we’ve realized how important it is for them to have brand support at that level,” Beats’ head of sports marketing, Aminah Charles, said. “The industry is moving toward truly empowering college athletes, so we wanted to take a bigger swing in this area.”

Klubnik is among college football’s elite players, and Beats made it a point to get some of the best of the best. Another strong deal for Klubnik.

Bronny James debuted his Beats by Dre NIL deal in an awesome commercial with LeBron

This is so cool.

NIL hasn’t just opened doors for college athletes to profit off their names, it has also paved the way for high school athletes to make money before ever stepping foot on a college campus.

And no high school athlete has more lucrative opportunities than Bronny James.

Just a week after Nike signed LeBron James’ oldest son to its first high school NIL deal, Bronny took his marketing game to another level with an endorsement from Beats by Dre. The Apple-owned headphone brand got both LeBron — Beats’ first-ever athlete signing — and Bronny to team up for a 90-second ad spot with the two playing a game of one-on-one.

Check it out:

Love that they got a Taco Tuesday reference in there.

Bronny is set to start his senior season at Sierra Canyon (Calif.). Currently, he’s 247Sports’ 41st-ranked prospect in the class of 2023 and has seen his stock rise after an impressive showing in the summer club ball circuit. Bronny has already visited Ohio State and is also thought to be considering Oregon, USC and Memphis if he goes the college route. With the NIL deal, he will certainly be attending a Nike school.

NBA fans loved seeing Bronny thrive in this latest commercial with LeBron. It must have been a great moment for LeBron as well.

Beats by Dre and Reliant drop Texans QB Deshaun Watson

Two more sponsors have ended their endorsements with Houston Texans QB Deshaun Watson.

Two more companies have terminated their endorsements with Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson, who faces 22 lawsuits alleging sexual assault from as many women.

According to Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle, Reliant Energy and Beats by Dre have terminated their endorsements with the three-time Pro Bowl quarterback.

According to an email from Reliant, the partnership with Watson was already scheduled to terminate during the spring.

“Reliant is aware of pending civil lawsuits and a criminal investigation involving Deshaun Watson, Houston Texans quarterback,” Reliant said. “Our relationship with Watson as a brand ambassador was scheduled to end this spring prior to these allegations, and there are no plans for future engagements or contracts with him. We take accusations of this nature very seriously. With respect to the legal process, we do not have any further comment on this matter.”

Beats by Dre had been in a business relationship with Watson since 2017 when the Texans selected him in Round 1 of the NFL draft.
