Baltimore Ravens at Chicago Bears odds, picks and prediction

Analyzing Sunday’s Baltimore Ravens at Chicago Bears odds and lines, with expert NFL picks, predictions and best bets.

Following their stunning loss to the Miami Dolphins last week, the Baltimore Ravens (6-3) will take on the Chicago Bears (3-6) in Week 11. The Bears will host the Ravens at Soldier Field on Sunday afternoon, with kickoff set for 1 p.m. ET. Below, we look at the Ravens vs. Bears odds and lines, and make our best NFL picks, predictions and bets.

The Ravens still look like the best team in the AFC North but their 22-10 loss to the Dolphins is concerning. They’ve now lost two of their last three, both by double-digits, and have injury concerns to deal with, too.

Baltimore leads the NFL in rushing and ranks 10th in net yards per pass attempt, so they’re moving the ball on offense. But, Baltimore’s defense is allowing 24.1 points per game, 22nd in the NFL.

The Bears gain the second-fewest yards per game in the NFL and allow the 13th-most, so they have not played very well this season.

Despite losing their last four games, however, they’ve scored 49 total points in their last two contests against the 49ers and Steelers. Fresh off a bye, this team should continue to improve with Justin Fields at QB.

Ravens at Bears odds, lines, predictions and picks

Prediction

Ravens 27, Bears 20

Money line

Even though the Ravens were embarrassed by the Dolphins, I’m treating that game as an outlier, being on a short week after an overtime win.

The Bears are 19th in yards per rush allowed and have allowed the 11th-most rushing yards in the NFL, so they could have trouble against the Ravens’ ground game.

And when it comes to Baltimore’s defense, it should have success against the rookie Fields, who has thrown eight interceptions and struggled under pressure.

BET the RAVENS (-270) to win outright.

Against the spread

The Ravens haven’t covered the spread in any of their last three games and now sit at 3-6 ATS this season. The Bears are one game better at 4-5 ATS, but neither team has been great against the spread.

BET the RAVENS -6.5 (-105) to cover.

Over/Under

The total has gone Over in two of the Ravens’ last three games, and the same goes for the Bears, too. The Over is 5-4 in the Ravens’ nine games this season, helped by Baltimore’s 25.7 points per game and below-average defense.

The Ravens aren’t even scoring as much as they should, either, ranking second in total yards but only 12th in points. If they can convert in the red zone, the points will flow.

BET the OVER 44.5 (-105).

The Baltimore Ravens (6-3) visit the “Windy City” Sunday for their Week 11 game against the Chicago Bears (3-6) at Soldier Field. Kick-off is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET. Below, we look at the Ravens vs. Bears odds and lines; check back for our NFL picks and predictions.

Baltimore was upset 22-10 by the Miami Dolphins as 7.5-point road favorites on Thursday Night Football in Week 10. The Ravens were minus-two in turnover differential and 2-for-14 on 3rd-down. The Dolphins held Lamar Jackson to just 39 rushing yards on 11 carries.

Chicago had its bye in Week 10 but lost a 29-27 Monday Night Football heartbreaker at the Pittsburgh Steelers as 6.5-point underdogs the week prior.

The Bears struggle situationally under rookie QB Justin Fields and have the fewest passing TDs in the NFL (five). For instance, Chicago ranks 27th in 3rd-down conversion rate and 24th in red zone scoring percentage.

Ravens at Bears head-to-head

The last Ravens-Bears meeting was a 27-24 road win for Chicago in 2017, the year before Baltimore drafted Jackson in the first round. Both Bears head coach Matt Nagy and Jackson joined their respective teams in 2018.

In the Nagy era, Chicago is 6-7 against the spread (ATS) as a home underdog and 0-3 following a bye week with a minus-11.3 spread differential.

Since Jackson’s first year as Baltimore’s starting quarterback (2019), the Ravens are 9-7 ATS as a road favorite with a plus-5.6 spread differential, 4-6 ATS vs. NFC teams and 9-4 ATS when playing with a rest disadvantage.
