The Baltimore Orioles (78-58) and Colorado Rockies (50-86) conclude their 3-game series Sunday. First pitch from Coors Field is set for 3:10 p.m. ET. Let’s analyze FanDuel Sportsbook’s lines around the Orioles vs. Rockies odds and make our expert MLB picks and predictions for the best bets.

Season series: Tied 1-1; Orioles won 5-3 Friday, lost 7-5 Saturday

RHP Craig Kimbrel blew his 6th save of the season in Saturday’s 7-5 lost. The Orioles have allowed at least 6 runs in 3 of their last 4 games, all losses. Baltimore did get RF Anthony Santander‘s 39th HR. They are 39-29 away from Camden Yards.

The Rockies broke a 5-5 tie in the 8th inning on RBIs from RF Jordan Beck and C Drew Romo, his 3rd RBI of the game. Colorado’s 3-3 on their 7-game homestand which wraps up Sunday. They are 32-36 at Coors Field.

Orioles at Rockies projected starters

RHP Zach Eflin vs. LHP Ty Blach

Eflin (9-7, 3.72 ERA) makes his 24th start. He has a 1.14 WHIP, 1.0 BB/9 and 7.4 K/9 in 135 1/3 IP.

  • Last start: Win, 6 IP, 1 ER, 5 H, 0 BB, 8 K in 5-1 home victory against Boston Red Sox Aug. 15
  • 2024 away splits: 4-5, 4.65 ERA (79 1/3 IP, 45 R (41 ER), 1.22 WHIP, 7.3 K/9 in 14 starts
  • Since being acquired from the Tampa Bay Rays: 4-0, 2.18 ERA (25 1/3 IP, 6 ER), 1.03 WHIP, 8.9 K/9 in 4 starts

Blach (3-6, 6.36 ERA) makes his 11th start and 19th appearance. He has a 1.70 WHIP, 2.3 BB/9 and 4.8 K/9 in 63 2/3 IP.

  • Blach will return from AAA to step in for Cal Quantrill, who was scratched Saturday night due to right triceps inflammation
  • Last MLB appearance: No-decision, 2 IP, 3 ER, 4 H, 2 BB, 1 K in an 11-4 loss at Giants July 26
  • 2024 home splits: 3-4, 5.85 ERA (47 2/3 IP, 31 ER), 1.62 WHIP, 4.3 K/9 in 12 games

  • Run line (RL)/Against the spread: Orioles -1.5 (-128) | Rockies +1.5 (+106)
  • Over/Under (O/U): 11 (O: -112 | U: -108)

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3012″ ]

Orioles at Rockies picks and predictions

Prediction

Orioles 7, Rockies 5

Moneyline

PASS.

The Orioles (-186) will bounce back and close out their road trip with a victory on Sunday. I’m not going to take this bet though, I’ll take the better odds with the run line.

Run line/Against the spread

BET ORIOLES -1.5 (-128).

Eflin, fresh off the DL, is set to start and has been outstanding since joining the Orioles before the trade deadline. His return adds a significant boost to an already strong Baltimore team.

The Rockies are dealing with a pitching setback, as Quantril was scratched due to right triceps inflammation. This forces them to rely on lefty reliever Blach, who will be making a spot start. Blach has struggled with a 5.90 ERA and has been bouncing between Triple-A and the majors, which doesn’t bode well for Colorado.

This pitching matchup plays into Baltimore’s hands. The Orioles hit significantly better against left-handed pitchers, and with Blach on the mound, they’re in a great position to capitalize. Baltimore has been solid this season, sporting a 75-61 ATS and a 39-29 mark on the road.

With these factors in mind, the Orioles are well-positioned to cover the -1.5 spread. Bet on Baltimore to take this game comfortably.

Over/Under

BET OVER 11 (-112).

These teams have gone Over in 6 of their last 8 meetings, and both have seen plenty of high-scoring games lately. Rockies starter Blach has given up 12 ER in his last 6⅔ innings, and Colorado’s team ERA is a rough 5.53.

Even though Eflin has been solid for the Orioles, their ERA has climbed since the All-Star break. With these factors in play, expect a high-scoring game and take the Over.

Baltimore Orioles at Tampa Bay Rays odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Saturday’s Baltimore Orioles at Tampa Bay Rays odds and lines, with MLB expert picks, predictions and best bets.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The Baltimore Orioles (69-48) and Tampa Bay Rays (58-57) play the 2nd game of a 3-game series Saturday. First pitch from Tropicana Field is set for 7:15 p.m. ET (FOX). Let’s analyze FanDuel Sportsbook’s lines around the Orioles vs. Rays odds and make our expert MLB picks and predictions for the best bets.

Season series: Orioles lead 4-2

The Orioles took the Friday opener 4-1 as -126 favorites as the Under (8) hit. SP Zach Eflin (7 IP, 0 ER, 4 H, 1 BB, 7 K) is now 3-0 since getting traded to Baltimore from Tampa Bay July 26. DH Eloy Jimenez had his 4th multi-hit game in his 1st 7 with the Orioles. They also got solo home runs from CF Cedric Mullins and LF Colton Cowser. Baltimore is now 4-4 on its current 10-game road trip.

Rays SP Zack Littell suffered his 8th loss of the season after allowing 3 earned runs on 8 hits over 5 innings. Tampa Bay’s offense could only manage 5 hits and didn’t score its 1st run until a 9th-inning solo shot from RF Dylan Carlson. The Rays have lost 3 of their last 4.

Orioles at Rays projected starters

RHP Corbin Burnes vs. RHP Drew Rasmussen

Burnes (12-4, 2.63 ERA) makes his 24th start. He has a 1.06 WHIP, 2.1 BB/9 and 8.3 K/9 in 143 2/3 IP.

  • Last start: Loss, 5 IP, 4 ER (5 R), 7 H, 1 BB, 4 K in 9-5 victory at Cleveland Guardians Sunday
  • 2024 road splits: 6-2, 3.20 ERA (70 1/3 IP, 25 ER), 0.97 WHIP, 7.5 K/9 in 11 starts
  • Only career start vs. Rays: Win, 7 IP, 0 ER (2 R), 5 H, 1 BB, 3 K in 5-2 road victory June 10

Rasmussen (0-0, 0.00 ERA) will serve as the opener Saturday, making his 1st start and 2nd appearance of 2024. He pitched 2 scoreless innings in relief (0 H, 0 BB, 3 K) in his season debut, a 5-2 loss at the St. Louis Cardinals Wednesday.

  • Was reinstated from 60-day IL Wednesday after undergoing 3rd major elbow surgery in 7 years
  • 2023 stats: 4-2, 2.62 ERA (44 2/3 IP, 13 ER), 1.05 WHIP, 9.5 K/9 in 8 starts
  • Career vs. Orioles: 2-0, 2.13 ERA (25 1/3 IP, 6 ER), 0.83 WHIP, 7.1 K/9 in 6 appearances (4 starts) — last start in 2022

Who’s going yard? Here’s a breakdown of today’s best home run props with our top picks. Include the BetMGM bonus code SBWIRE to score a $1,500 first-bet offer.

Orioles at Rays odds

Provided by FanDuel Sportsbook; access USA TODAY Sports Scores and Sports Betting Odds hub for a full list. Lines last updated at 10:07 a.m. ET.

  • Moneyline (ML): Orioles -164 (bet $164 to win $100) | Rays +138 (bet $100 to win $138)
  • Run line (RL)/Against the spread: Orioles -1.5 (+105) | Rays +1.5 (-126)
  • Over/Under (O/U): 7.5 (O: -106 | U: -114)

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3012″ ]

Orioles at Rays picks and predictions

Prediction

Orioles 5, Rays 2

Moneyline

PASS.

The Orioles (-164) have their ace on the mound Saturday, and I fully expect them to get this victory, but I’m not going to bet nearly 2 units to win 1. I’ll save my wager for the run line.

Run line/Against the spread

BET ORIOLES -1.5 (+104).

Burnes has been everything the Orioles wanted and more when they acquired him this offseason from the Milwaukee Brewers. He takes the ball every 5th day, keeps them in games and eats innings. He is 3-0 in his last 4 starts, allowing a little over 2 runs per game. The Rays will struggle to get much if anything against him Saturday.

Baltimore is 10-10 since the All-Star break, but it’s not because of the offense — its team ERA is 4.97. The good news for the Orioles, Burnes has been consistent throughout the season.

Over/Under

PASS.

The uncertainty surrounding how Rasmussen will fare after a 3rd major elbow surgery makes it hard to recommend a bet. I’ll just avoid it and focus my wager on the run line.

However, if forced to make a play, my instinct would be to consider the Under with Burnes on the mound.

Analyzing Thursday’s Baltimore Orioles at Toronto Blue Jays odds and lines, with MLB expert picks, predictions and best bets.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The Baltimore Orioles (68-47) and Toronto Blue Jays (52-62) conclude a 3-game series Tuesday. First pitch from Rogers Centre is set for 7:07 p.m. ET (MLB Network). Let’s analyze FanDuel Sportsbook’s lines around the Orioles vs. Blue Jays odds and make our expert MLB picks and predictions for the best bets.

Season series: Orioles lead 7-5

The Orioles won 7-3 on Wednesday behind 2 HRs from RF Anthony Santander and 2B Jackson Holliday‘s 3rd HR since getting recalled a week ago. It was Baltimore’s 3rd victory in its last 4 games. The Orioles are 34-22 on the road and 61-53 against the spread (ATS).

The Blue Jays have allowed the Orioles to scored 5.5 runs per game over their 12 meetings this season. The Blue Jays are 27-29 at home and 54-59 ATS.

Orioles at Blue Jays projected starters

RHP Dean Kremer vs. RHP Kevin Gausman

Kremer (4-8, 4.39 ERA) makes his 16th start. He has a 1.25 WHIP, 3.5 BB/9 and 8.4 K/9 in 80 IP.

  • Last start: Loss, 5 IP, 4 ER, 6 H, 2 BB, 2 K in 8-4 loss at the Cleveland Guardians Friday
  • 2024 road splits: 3-4, 4.42 ERA (57 IP, 18 R (17 ER), 1.04 WHIP, 8.1 K/9 in 8 starts
  • Career vs. Blue Jays: 3-3, 4.35 (51 2/3 IP, 27 R (25 ER), 1.50 WHIP, 7.4 K/9 in 10 games
  • 2023 vs. Blue Jays: 2-0, 1.56 ERA (12 2/3 IP, 3 ER), 1.26 WHIP, 9.5 K/9 in 3 starts

Gausman (9-8, 4.56 ERA) makes his 23rd start. He has a 1.30 WHIP, 2.6 BB/9 and 8.6 K/9 in 124 1/3 IP.

  • Last start: No-decision, 4 2/3 IP, 5 R (4 ER), 8 H, 3 BB, 2 K in 8-5 victory at Yankees Friday

  • Moneyline (ML): Orioles -116 (bet $116 to win $100) | Blue Jays -102 (bet $102 to win $100)
  • Run line (RL)/Against the spread: Orioles -1.5 (+130) | Blue Jays +1.5 (-160)
  • Over/Under (O/U): 8.5 (O: -122 | U: +100)

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3012″ ]

Orioles at Blue Jays picks and predictions

Prediction

Orioles 6, Blue Jays 4

Moneyline

BET ORIOLES (-116).

Gausman got his start in Baltimore, but has not fared well against the Orioles since leaving. He is 0-3 in his last 4 starts against the Orioles, allowing over 3 runs per game against them. He has also allowed at least 3 runs in each of his last 8 home starts.

The Blue Jays are floundering. They’re in last place in the AL East, 15½ games back of the Orioles and Yankees, and 11 games back in the Wild Card race.

This is Kremer’s first start against the Blue Jays in 2024 but he owned them in 2023. In 17 1/3 IP against Toronto last year, he allowed just 3 ER. I trust the Orioles offense to give him the run support he’ll need to get this victory.

Run line/Against the spread

PASS.

I’m going to keep my wager to the moneyline.

Over/Under

BET OVER 8.5 (-122).

The trends still lie in our favor for the Over. The Over has hit in 5 of their last 7 meetings. The Orioles have been Over in 8 of their last 10 games while the Blue Jays have been Over in 7 of their last 10.

The Over has hit in 4 of Kremer’s last 5 starts, the Over has hit in Gausman’s last 4 starts. There is just too much to ignore. OVER 8.5 (-122) is the way to go.

Orioles at Rangers projected starters

RHP Dean Kremer vs. RHP Andrew Heaney

Kremer (4-5, 4.38 ERA) makes his 13th start. He has a 1.19 WHIP, 3.5 BB/9 and 9.0 K/9 in 63 2/3 IP.

  • Last start: No-decision, 4 2/3 IP, 2 ER, 4 H, 2 BB, 4 K in 6-5 victory against the New York Yankees on July 14

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3012″ ]

Orioles at Rangers picks and predictions

Prediction

Orioles 7, Rangers 5

Moneyline

BET ORIOLES (-118).

I freely admit that this is lukewarm endorsement because I’m not extremely confident in Kremer, but neither am I confident in Heaney. The Orioles are crushing the ball in Texas this weekend and I’ll bet on them to keep that rolling on Sunday and complete the sweep.

Baltimore has an exceptional road record (30-16)and has won 6 of its last 8 on the road.

Run line/Against the spread

PASS.

I don’t like either team on the run line so I’ll stick to the moneyline.

Over/Under

BET OVER 8.5 (-115).

The Over has hit in 4 straight and 5 of the last 6 matchups between these 2 teams.

The Orioles have been Over in 3 straight and are 50-38-10 against the Over on the season. In Kremer’s last 6 starts, the Over has hit in 5 of them. Baltimore has also averaged 8.5 runs per game in this series.

Baltimore Orioles at Houston Astros odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Sunday’s Baltimore Orioles at Houston Astros odds and lines, with MLB expert picks, predictions and best bets.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The Baltimore Orioles (49-27) and Houston Astros (37-40) conclude their 3-game series Sunday. First pitch from Minute Maid Park is slated for 2:10 p.m. ET. Let’s analyze FanDuel Sportsbook’s lines around the Orioles vs. Astros odds and make our expert MLB picks and predictions for the best bets.

Season series: Astros lead 2-0 with a 14-11 win Friday and 5-1 win Saturday

Orioles ace Corbin Burnes (7 IP, 4 ER, 5 H, 2 HR, 0 BB, 5 K) suffered his 1st loss since May 7th on Saturday afternoon. Baltimore was stifled offensively and their lone run was a solo shot from 3B Jordan Westburg. Baltimore hopes to avoid being swept for just the 2nd time all season.

Saturday’s win was Houston’s 4th straight. A stellar performance from SP Ronel Blanco (7 IP, 1 ER, 4 H, 1 HR, 3 BB, 4 K) earned him his team-high 8th victory. LF Chas McCormick went 3-for-3 with 2 long balls and 3 runs scored. The Astros also got a 2-run HR from DH Yordan Alvarez. They look to complete their 1st sweep since May 16th

Orioles at Astros projected starters

RHP Albert Suarez vs. LHP Framber Valdez

Suarez (3-1, 2.05 ERA) makes his 9th start and 16th appearance. He has a 1.20 WHIP, 3.5 BB/9 and 7.4 K/9 in 48 1/3 IP.

  • Last start: Loss, 3 2/3 IP, 3 ER, 6 H, 5 BB, 3 K in 4-2 road loss against the New York Yankees Tuesday
  • Has never faced the Astros
  • 2024 road splits: 2-1, 2.22 ERA (24 1/3 IP, 7 R (6 ER), 1.27 WHIP, 6.7 K/9 in 8 games (4 starts)

Valdez (5-5, 3.91 ERA) makes his 13th start. He has a 1.21 WHIP, 2.9 BB/9 and 6.8 K/9 in 73 2/3 IP.

  • Last start: Loss, 6 IP, 2 ER, 2 H, 5 BB, 5 K in 2-0 road loss against the Chicago White Sox Tuesday
  • 2024 home splits: 2-2, 4.17 ERA (36 2/3 IP, 17 ER), 1.26 WHIP, 6.9 K/9 in 6 starts
  • Last start vs Orioles: No-decision, 7 IP, 6 ER, 8 H, 2 BB, 3 K in 7-6 road victory on Aug 8, 2023

Who’s going yard? Here’s a breakdown of today’s best home run props with our top picks. Include the BetMGM bonus code SBWIRE to score a $1,500 first-bet offer.

Orioles at Astros odds

Provided by FanDuel Sportsbook; access USA TODAY Sports Scores and Sports Betting Odds hub for a full list. Lines last updated at 1:10 a.m. ET.

  • Moneyline (ML): Orioles +108 (bet $100 to win $108) | Astros -126 (bet $126 to win $100)
  • Run line (RL)/Against the spread (ATS): Orioles +1.5 (-192) | Astros -1.5 (+158)
  • Over/Under (O/U): 8.5 (O: -104 | U: -118)

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3012″ ]

Orioles at Astros picks and predictions

Prediction

Orioles 7, Astros 4

Moneyline.

BET ORIOLES (+108).

I’ve got the Orioles avoiding the sweep and ending their 6-game road trip at 3-3. Baltimore does not get swept, in fact, they just had their streak of 106 consecutive series (dating back to 2022) without being swept end on May 22 by the St. Louis Cardinals. It was the 3rd-longest streak in AL/NL history.

Another reason to love the Orioles on Sunday afternoon is they’re facing the southpaw Valdez. They have owned lefties this season, goingn14-7 against them and batting .259 as a team. Valdez has a career 4.98 career ERA against Baltimore.

Run line/Against the spread

PASS.

I’ll save my bet for the moneyline.

Over/Under

PASS.

I lean to the Over (-104) in this game, but don’t have enough confidence to make it an official recommendation because Valdez is 2-8 against the Over in his last 10 starts and Suarez is 0-4-1 in his last 5.

Baltimore Orioles at Houston Astros odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Saturday’s Baltimore Orioles at Houston Astros odds and lines, with MLB expert picks, predictions and best bets.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The Baltimore Orioles (49-26) and Houston Astros (36-40) play game 2 of their 3-game series Saturday. First pitch from Minute Maid Park is slated for 4:10 p.m. ET. Let’s analyze FanDuel Sportsbook’s lines around the Orioles vs. Astros odds and make our expert MLB picks and predictions for the best bets.

Season series: Astros lead 1-0

The Orioles are in the midst of a 6-game road trip, which started with taking 2 of 3 at the New York Yankees. However, they dropped Friday’s opener of this series 14-11 as -150 favorites; the Astros cashed as +138 home ‘dogs. Baltimore SP Grayson Rodriguez (5 IP, 7 ER, 9 H, 1 HR, 2 BB, 8 K) suffered his 1st loss in June after a 3-0 start to the month. SS Gunnar Henderson parked his 23rd and 24th home runs of the season and C Adley Rutschman’s breakout season continued with a 5-for-5 night in the loss, improving his batting average to .305.

Friday’s win was Houston’s 3rd straight. The Astros’ huge offensive night was led by 2B Jose Altuve going 3-for-5 with 2 doubles, 2 RBIs and 2 runs. LF Joey Loperfido also had 3 hits, while 3B Alex Bregman, 1B Jon Singleton and SS Mauricio Dubon each had 2 hits, and CF Jake Meyers hit a 3-run jack.

Orioles at Astros projected starters

RHP Corbin Burnes vs. RHP Ronel Blanco

Burnes (8-2, 2.14 ERA) makes his 16th start. He has a 1.04 WHIP, 2.3 BB/9 and 8.6 K/9 in 92 2/3 innings.

  • Career vs. Astros: 0-1, 7.50 ERA (6 IP, 5 ER) in 1 start and 1 relief appearance

Orioles at Astros picks and predictions

Prediction

Orioles 3, Astros 2

Moneyline.

PASS.

The Orioles (-154) come out on top Saturday afternoon after failing to comeback Friday night. As much as I like Baltimore to get the win, I’m not interested in betting just over 1½ units with the -154 ML for that to happen. I’ll save my wager for the run line.

Run line/Against the spread

BET ORIOLES -1.5 (+112).

The Astros may be the most disappointing team in the majors, basically playing .500 baseball over the last 30 days. Blanco has been the lone bright spot in their rotation, but he’s struggled in 2 of his last 3 home starts.

The Orioles are road warriors with an MLB-best record of 24-12 away from home. On top of that, they’ve got their ace on the mound Saturday. Burnes has allowed just 3 earned runs over his last 4 starts (27 IP). He has not lost since 8 starts ago on May 7. Baltimore’s pitching staff features a 3.08 ERA on the road and opponents are hitting just .202 against them.

Over/Under

BET UNDER 7.5 (+100).

The Astros are struggling to score runs lately. The Under has hit in 4 of their last 5 games and in 7 of their last 10. It won’t get any easier with Burnes taking the mound for the Orioles.

Meanwhile, the Under is 10-0 in Blanco’s last 10 starts and it’s 11-2 in all 13 of his starts this season.

Atlanta Braves at Baltimore Orioles odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Tuesday’s Atlanta Braves at Baltimore Orioles odds and lines, with MLB expert picks, predictions and best bets.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The Atlanta Braves (35-28) and Baltimore Orioles (43-22) begin a 3-game series Tuesday. First pitch from Oriole Park at Camden Yards is slated for 6:35 p.m. ET. Let’s analyze FanDuel Sportsbook’s lines around the Braves vs. Orioles odds and make our expert MLB picks and predictions for the best bets.

Season series: First meeting; Braves won 2 of 3 in 2023

Atlanta is 2-4 on its 9-game road trip which concludes in Baltimore. They lost their 3rd straight game on Sunday, 8-5 to the Washington Nationals. RHP Hurston Waldrep was beat up in his MLB debut (3 2/3 IP, 7 ER, 4 H, 4 BB, 1 K). The majority of the Braves offense came off the bat of LF Jarred Kelenic, with a 9th-inning 3-run HR.

The Orioles completed a 4-game sweep of the Tampa Bay Rays in St. Petersburg on Monday evening. SS Gunnar Henderson went 3-for-5 with a HR on the 1st pitch of the game. Baltimore also got 3 RBI from DH Ryan O’Hearn and a solo HR fom C James McCann. RHP Corbin Burnes did not allow an ER and RHP Craig Kimbrel earned his 15th save.

Braves at Orioles projected starters

LHP Max Fried vs. RHP Albert Suarez

Fried (6-2, 2.93 ERA) makes his 13th start. He has a 1.02 WHIP, 2.7 BB/9 and 8.2 K/9 in 73 2/3 IP.

  • Last start: Win, 7 IP, 2 R (1 ER), 4 H, 1 BB, 13 K in 8-3 victory at Boston Red Sox last Tuesday
  • Career vs Orioles: 1-1, 3.00 ERA, 15 IP, 12 H, 5 ER, 2 BB, 11 K in 2 games

Saurez (2-0, 1.83 ERA) makes his 13th appearance and 7th start. He has a 1.02 WHIP, 2.5 BB/9 and 7.6 K/9 in 39 1/3 IP.

  • Last start: No-decision, 5 IP, 2 ER, 5 H, 1 BB, 4 K in 3-2 loss at Toronto Blue Jays Wednesday
  • Career vs Braves: 0-1, 5.79 ERA, 9 1/3 IP, 8 H, 6 ER, 2 BB, 9 K in 2 games

Braves at Orioles picks and predictions

Prediction

Orioles 6, Braves 4

Moneyline.

BET ORIOLES (+116).

Fried has won 3 straight starts and 4 of his last 5, but that run comes to an end in Baltimore on Tuesday. The Orioles have owned lefties with a record of 13-5 and over .800 OPS on the season. They are also 22-12 at Camden Yards winning 4 of their last 6 games.

Atlanta was a pre-season World Series favorite, but they have played below .500 baseball over their last 30 games. They just dropped 3 games in a row to a far inferior Nationals team. All the momentum is on the Orioles side heading into this series.

Run line/Against the spread

LEAN OVER 8 (-112).

I don’t love the trends toward that bet. I’m not going to make it a strong recommendation because the teams are 2-6 against the Over in their last 8  meetings.

Atlanta is 3-3 against the Over and the Orioles are 3-2-1 in their last 6 games.

Baltimore Orioles at Tampa Bay Rays odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Monday’s Baltimore Orioles at Tampa Bay Rays odds and lines, with MLB expert picks, predictions and best bets.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The Baltimore Orioles (42-22) and Tampa Bay Rays (31-34) conclude their 4-game series Monday. First pitch from Tropicana Field is slated for 6:50 p.m. ET (FS1). Let’s analyze FanDuel Sportsbook’s lines around the Orioles vs. Rays odds and make our expert MLB picks and predictions for the best bets.

Season series: Orioles lead 5-1

The Orioles are going for a 4-game sweep of the Rays in St. Petersburg Monday. Baltimore won 9-2 Sunday as a -139 favorite with the Over (7.5) cashing. C Adley Rutschman went 3-for-5 with a grand slam and finished with 6 RBIs. RHP Grayson Rodriguez took a perfect game into the 6th inning to earn his 7th win of the season. The Orioles have outscored the Rays 20-5 in the first 3 games of this series.

The Rays only managed 2 runs in Sunday’s loss on 6th-inning RBI singles from 2B Brandon Lowe and LF Randy Arozarena. Starter RHP Zack Littell was respectable holding Baltimore to 3 ERs over his 6 innings but it wasn’t enough.

Orioles at Rays projected starters

RHP Corbin Burnes vs. RHP Ryan Pepiot

Burnes (6-2, 2.26 ERA) makes his 14th start. He has a 1.02 WHIP, 2.4 BB/9 and 8.6 K/9 in 79 2/3 innings.

  • Last start: Win, 7 IP, 1 ER, 4 H, 1 BB, 5 K in 10-1 victory at Toronto Blue Jays Tuesday
  • Has never faced Rays; made MLB debut in 2018
  • 2024 road splits: 3-1, 3.09 ERA (32 IP, 11 ER), 0.97 WHIP, 7.6 K/9 in 5 starts

Pepiot (4-2, 3.96 ERA) makes his 11th start. He has a 0.96 WHIP, 2.8 BB/9 and 10.1 K/9 in 52 1/3 innings.

  • Last start: Win, 6 IP, 3 ER, 6 H, 0 BB, 8 K in 9-5 victory at Miami Marlins Tuesday
  • Has never faced Orioles; made MLB debut in 2022
  • 2024 home splits: 1-2, 5.24 ERA (34 1/3 IP, 20 ER), 1.14 WHIP, 8.7 K/9 in 7 starts

Orioles at Rays odds

Provided by FanDuel Sportsbook; access USA TODAY Sports Scores and Sports Betting Odds hub for a full list. Lines last updated at 5:42 a.m. ET.

  • Moneyline (ML): Orioles -156 (bet $156 to win $100) | Rays +132 (bet $100 to win $132)
  • Run line (RL)/Against the spread (ATS): Orioles -1.5 (+114) | Rays +1.5 (-137)
  • Over/Under (O/U): 7.5 (O: -105 | U: -115)

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3012″ ]

Orioles at Rays picks and predictions

Prediction

Orioles 4, Rays 2

Moneyline.

PASS.

The Orioles (-156) will complete the 4-game sweep of the Rays. However, I’ll AVOID paying the juice and wager on the Orioles’ run line at plus-money.

Run line/Against the spread

BET ORIOLES -1.5 (+114).

Burnes has been everything the Orioles wanted after trading for him this offseason from the Brewers. He has been the lock-down ace at the top of their rotation they were looking for. He hasn’t lost a start since 6 starts ago (May 7), going 3-0 with a 1.41 ERA (32 IP, 5 ER) in his last 5 outing. This will continue in his 1st career start vs. the Rays Monday.

The Rays are 20-28 vs. righties with a .225 team batting average, which ranks 25th in the majors.

As mentioned, Baltimore has dominated Tampa Bay this season, winning 5 of the 6 head-to-head matchups and outscoring the Rays 35-15.

Play our free daily Pick’em Challenge and win! Play now!

Over/Under

Lean Under 7.5 (-115), but I don’t see an edge to officially making a strong recommendation. The O/U is 2-1 in the last 3 games and 3-3 in the 6 head-to-head meetings this season.

The Under is 4-1 when umpire Chris Conroy is behind the plate, and he’s expected to be calling balls and strikes at the Trop for this series finale.

Oakland A’s at Baltimore Orioles odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Saturday’s Oakland A’s at Baltimore Orioles odds and lines, with MLB expert picks, predictions and best bets.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The Oakland A’s (11-16)and Baltimore Orioles (16-9) play the 2nd game of their 3-game series Saturday. First pitch from Oriole Park at Camden Yards is slated for 4:05 p.m. ET. Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the A’s vs. Orioles odds and make our expert MLB picks and predictions for the best bets.

Season series: A’s lead 1-0

The A’s stole the series opener 3-2 in 10 innings Friday. Oakland forced extra innings on an RBI double from 3B Abraham Toro in the top of the 9th off RHP Craig Kimbrel. RF Brent Rooker brought home the eventual game-winning run on an RBI double in the top of the 10th. The A’s have failed to score more than 3 runs in 9 straight games.

Baltimore wasted a great start from ace RHP Corbin Burnes (6 IP, 1 ER, 6 K) Friday night. RHP Ross Stripling kept the potent Orioles offense contained to 2 earned runs. The only offense Baltimore could muster was an RBI single from DH Ryan O’Hearn and a solo shot from CF Cedric Mullins. The Orioles have held their opponents to 3 runs per game in their last 4 at home.

A’s at Orioles projected starters

RHP JP Sears vs. RHP Cole Irvin

Sears (1-1, 3.38 ERA) makes his 6th start. He has a 1.05 WHIP, 3.4 BB/9 and 5.4 K/9 in 26 2/3 innings.

  • Last start: No-decision, 6 IP, 0 ER, 3 H, 1 BB, 7 K in 2-0 loss at New York Yankees Monday
  • Career vs Orioles: 2-2, 5.14 ERA (21 IP, 12 ER) in 4 starts and 1 relief appearance

Irvin (1-1, 4.64 ERA) makes his 5th start. He has a 1.45 WHIP, 3 BB/9 and 5.5 K/9 in 21 1/3 innings.

  • Last start: Win, 6 2/3 IP, 0 ER, 4 H, 2 BB, 2 K in 5-0 win at Kansas City Royals Sunday
  • Career vs A’s: 0-0, 7.00 ERA (9 IP, 7 ER) in 2 starts

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3012″ ]

A’s at Orioles picks and predictions

Prediction

A’s 4, Orioles 2

Moneyline.

BET A’S (+145).

Sears has been lights out for the A’s, allowing just 1 earned run in his last 17 1/3 innings. In his 3 starts away from Oakland, he has a record of 1-0 with a 2.00 ERA. His OBA is also just .164 in road games.

Irvin looked good in his last outing, but in his 2 starts at home, he is 0-1 with a 5.59 ERA. Batters are hitting .317 against him at Camden Yards. The A’s bats have to wake up sooner or later.

Run line/Against the spread

PASS.

I’m going to keep my wager to the moneyline in this one.

Over/Under

BET UNDER 8 (-105).

As I’ve mentioned a few times, it’s been 9 games since the A’s scored more than 3 runs. They Under has hit in 4 of their last 5 games. Despite all that, I think they break that streak Saturday, but not by much.

Sears has been untouchable his last 3 starts, and he’s been even better on the road. Even with all that firepower in the Orioles lineup, the Under has hit in 3 of their last 5 games.

Oakland A’s at Baltimore Orioles odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Friday’s Oakland A’s at Baltimore Orioles odds and lines, with MLB expert picks, predictions and best bets.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The Oakland A’s (10-16) and Baltimore Orioles (16-8) begin a 3-game series Friday. First pitch from Oriole Park at Camden Yards is slated for 7:05 p.m. ET. Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the A’s vs. Orioles odds and make our expert MLB picks and predictions for the best bets.

Season series: First meeting; Orioles won 6 of 7 in 2023

The A’s improved to 2-5 on their 10-game road trip after winning 3-1 in New York Thursday night. They continue to struggle scoring and it’s been 8 games since Oakland produced more than 3 runs. LF Tyler Nevin and SS Nick Allen homered and LHP Alex Wood allowed 1 run in 5 2/3 innings to earn  his 1st victory of the season.

Baltimore finished their 6-game road trip 4-2 after a 6-5 victory over the Los Angeles Angels on Wednesday afternoon. SS Gunnar Henderson carried the Orioles, going 3-for-3 with a HR, a double, 3 RBIs and 3 runs scored. RHP Dean Kremer struck out 10 Angels in 5 1/3 IP to earn his 1st win.

A’s at Orioles projected starters

RHP Ross Stripling vs. RHP Corbin Burnes

Stripling (0-5, 5.34 ERA) makes his 6th start. He has a 1.57 WHIP, 2.5 BB/9 and 6.9 K/9 in 28 2/3 IP.

  • Last start: Loss, 5 IP, 3 ER, 5 H, 1 BB, 4 K in 6-2 loss at Cleveland Guardians Saturday
  • Career vs Orioles: 1-0, 3.86 ERA (18 2/3 IP, 8 ER) in 6 games (3 starts)

Burnes (3-0, 2.41 ERA) makes his 6th start. He has a 0.92 WHIP, 1.5 BB/9 and 8.9 K/9 in 29 1/3 IP.

  • Last start: Win, 5 2/3 IP, 3 ER, 4 H, 1 BB, 4 K in 9-7 win at the Kansas City Royals
  • 2024 home stats: 1-0, 2.70 ERA (16 2/3 IP, 5 ER) and a 1.08 WHIP in 3 starts
  • First start vs the A’s

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3012″ ]

A’s at Orioles picks and predictions

Prediction

Orioles 5, Athletics 1

Moneyline.

PASS.

I love the Orioles (-275) to start this series on a high note coming home after a long road trip. I’m just not going to pay nearly 3 units to win 1, I’ll pay less juice on the run line.

Run line/Against the spread

BET ORIOLES -1.5 (-125).

Baltimore has won — and covered — each of their last 4 games at Camden Yards, averaging 7 runs per game over that stretch. They are also 11-4 against right-handed pitchers this season.

The A’s have really struggled against right-handed pitching, hitting .200 for the season and going 7-11. Oakland is also 2-5 against the AL East.

Over/Under

BET UNDER 7.5 (-110).

The Orioles traded for their ace Burnes this offseason and he’s been everything they’ve wanted and more. He’s allowed 1, 2, 1, 2, and 3 runs in his 5 starts this season. This A’s lineup which is already struggling to score runs will have their work cut out for them on Friday night.

Despite being 0-5, Stripling has not pitched as bad as his record would indicate. Baltimore’s bats have not been as dynamic against right-handed pitching, which is why I believe they are held to 5 runs or less on Friday.
