Former Badgers G Brad Davison working out for the Minnesota Timberwolves

Brad Davison has earned himself a third NBA workout:

Although he didn’t receive an invite to the NBA combine last month, former Wisconsin Badgers guard Brad Davison is getting another chance to showcase his talents, this time in his home state of Minnesota.

Already having participated in workouts with the Atlanta Hawks and the Brooklyn Nets, Darren Wolfson of KSTP is now reporting that Wisconsin’s all-time leader in made three’s has a workout scheduled with the Minnesota Timberwolves this coming week.

After utilizing his fifth year of eligibility last season, the Minnesota native had a career year, averaging 14.1 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 2.1 assists en route to being named second-team All-Big Ten.

The additional exposure bodes well for Davison’s chances of landing on an NBA summer league roster, or earning a contract to play professionally overseas should he choose to pursue it.

Johnny Davis has pre-draft workout with the Washington Wizards

Badgers guard Johnny Davis has his first pre-draft workout:

Armed with the 10th pick in the 2022 NBA Draft, the Washington Wizards held a pre-draft workout with Badgers guard Johnny Davis, according to Josh Robbins of the Athletic.

Davis, who was the Big Ten Player of the Year, Lute Olson National Player of the Year, and a consensus first-team All-American averaged 19.7 points, 8.2 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.2 steals in 31 games for the Badgers last season.

The former La Crosse Central standout can score from all three levels, defend either spot on the wing, and possesses the versatility NBA scouts covet.

The 6-foot-5, 196-pound sophomore is currently projected as a lottery pick in the upcoming NBA Draft. Should that come to fruition, he’ll be the first Badger selected in the NBA Draft lottery since Frank Kaminsky back in 2015.

The 2022 NBA Draft will take place on June 23.
