Auburn’s baseball schedule just got a bit tougher.
The Tigers were set to face Xavier this weekend at Plainsman Park but due to COVID-19 issues within the Musketeers’ program, the school had to cancel their trip to the Plains.
In steps No. 18 Boston College who, much like Auburn, had an opponent — for the Eagles, Wake Forest — cancel their series for the weekend. The Eagles are currently 5-1 with a sweep against Charleston Southern and winning 2-of-3 from No. 11 Duke.
Auburn (6-2) had its game against Jacksonville State on Tuesday postponed until April 21.
