Where is Texas A&M ranked in the newest AP Top 25 Poll?

Did Texas A&M rise in the AP Top 25 Poll after defeating Arkansas?

Texas A&M (4-1, 2-0 SEC) defeated the Arkansas Razorbacks (3-2, 1-1 SEC) 21-17 in a game that featured an Aggie defense holding the Razorback’s running game to just 100 yards. At the same time, the pass rush harassed quarterback Taylen Green throughout the afternoon.

Offensively, Texas A&M’s run game struggled in the first half before junior running back Le’Veon Moss picked things up late, rushing for 90 of his 117 yards in the second half. Quarterback Marcel Reed, who started his third consecutive game this season, completed 11/22 for 163 yards and two touchdowns through the air while rushing for another score.

However, Reed’s accuracy issues downfield continued to be an issue, though his accuracy increased between the numbers, completing 71% of his passes for 384 yards and three touchdowns this season. How will the offensive game plan change next Saturday before facing Missouri? We shall see, but leaning on the offense’s strengths is key.

With the win, Texas A&M’s positioning in the newest AP Top 25 Poll was very confusing, as the Aggies looked to have dropped out of the rankings after an SEC victory. However, Texas A&M is tied with UNLV at No. 25, as the site is fixing the glitch.

Where is Texas A&M ranked in the US LBM Coaches Poll after defeating Arkansas?

Texas A&M will face the 9th-ranked Missouri Tigers next Saturday

Texas A&M (4-1, 2-0 SEC) defeated the Arkansas Razorbacks (3-2, 1-1 SEC) 21-17 in a game that featured an Aggie defense holding the Razorback’s running game to just 100 yards. At the same time, the pass rush harassed quarterback Taylen Green throughout the afternoon.

However, redshirt freshman quarterback Marcel Reed continued to deal with accuracy issues. Still, he did throw for two touchdowns while rushing for another, including a solid showing during the lead-taking fourth-quarter drive that solidified the victory.

Set to face the undefeated Missouri Tigers for an early Saturday morning showdown in Kyle Field, Texas A&M OC Collin Klein will need to change things up compared to what we saw on Saturday, especially if the run game fails to get going early.

Outside of Texas A&M, the rest of the Week 5 slate saw little movement in the newest US LBM Coaches Poll outside of Alabama’s thrilling 41-34 win over Georgia. At the same time, Ole Miss dropped six spots after shockingly falling to Kentucky.

After defeating a good Arkansas team, Texas A&M rose three spots to No. 21. Here is the rest of the Top 25 rankings.
