Von Miller scares Broncos fans with April Fools’ prank

Broncos outside linebacker Von Miller said he’s been cut. Don’t worry, it was just an April Fools’ prank.

Broncos outside linebacker Von Miller took to Instagram on Wednesday to share that he had been “released” by Denver. Miller, of course, was mearly using April Fools’ Day as an opportunity to prank his fans.

“I saw this on posted Von’s instagram like 10 minutes ago and I was so shook,” HeavenlyHarpoon commented on Reddit. “This is an April Fools Prank, right?”

“I know Von Miller’s Instagram post was an April Fool’s joke, but my stomach dropped nonetheless,” Hayley Hudson wrote on Twitter.

Some fans remembered the same prank from last year.

“Von Miller been doing the same corny April Fools IG post for years lol,” Brody Aufderheide said on Twitter.

We can probably count on Miller posting the same thing again in 2021.

Damian Lillard shuts down an April Fools’ Day tweet from a Lakers fan account

Damian Lillard isn’t playing these games.

Don’t know if you all know this, but today is April Fools day. With everything that is currently going on in our world, it’s super easy to forget — I know I definitely did.

Not everyone did, though. A Lakers fan account took full advantage of the day by tweeting that Lillard was unhappy with the Trail Blazers front office and wanted out of Portland. His preferred destination? Los Angeles, alongside LeBron James, Anthony Davis and the Lakers.

This tweet definitely looks pretty convincing if you’re just quickly scrolling down your timeline.

I mean, it has flame emojis and everything! What more could you ask for?

Lillard saw the tweet too, though, and shut everything down.

So much for that. Ah well. It’s not a WojBomb, obviously, but it definitely made for a good laugh.
