The Georgia Bulldogs and head coach Kirby Smart have offered a scholarship to 2023 defensive end Anthony James II. UGA already has a commitment in the class of 2023. Members of the class of 2023 are currently freshman in high school.
James is 6-5 and weighs 220 pounds, so he has an excellent frame. He’ll continue to add to his build over the course of high school. James plays football for Wylie East High School and is from Wylie, Texas. Wylie is a suburb of Dallas, which has some of the most competitive high school football across the country.
James was “humbled and blessed” to announce his scholarship offer via Twitter:

Kirby Smart and UGA have a long way to go before they’ll start to really worry about the class of 2023. The Dawgs are offering scholarships to the class of 2023, but so much can happen in 3-4 years over the course of a player’s career.
