Florida isn’t done recruiting wide receivers this cycle even after landing a pledge from three-star [autotag]Tyree Patterson[/autotag]. The Gators plan to sign several wideouts this cycle. One prospect they are recruiting heavily is three-star [autotag]Andy Jean[/autotag] who is also a former Miami Hurricanes commit.

He visited the Swamp for the Orange and Blue game and plans to visit head coach Billy Napier and wide receivers coach [autotag]Keary Colbert[/autotag] again on May 13 when he will be at UF for a track meet. Jean will then return for an official visit in June.

Jean is ranked 452nd best prospect nationally and the 57th best player at his position, according to the 247Sports composite rankings. He hails from nearby Miami.

He told Gators Online after his visit that he likes everything about Florida from the coaches, to the fans and to the city of Gainesville. Jean said he appreciates how Napier made time for him last Thursday even though he had a lot on his plate.

Jean also holds several offers in addition to Florida from Miami, Georgia, Texas A&M, Michigan, Florida State and South Carolina, among others. He added that the Gators sit at the top of his recruitment along with the Hurricanes, Bulldogs and Aggies.
