You couldn’t have asked for a better start to the 2023-24 season for the Alabama Crimson Tide men’s basketball team after their 105-73 victory against the Morehead State Eagles on Monday night from inside Coleman Coliseum.
Despite several new players and a completely revamped coaching staff, Nate Oats and the Crimson Tide looked like a seasoned group as they easily handled the Eagles.
The Tide controlled the game from the opening tip and never looked back after quickly building a double-digit lead in the first half.
Following the win, Coach Oats would speak to reporters about his team’s performance and what he is hoping to build on moving forward in the season.
