Alabama baseball hammers Boston College 8-0 to advance to Super Regionals

Alabama baseball shuts out Boston College 8-0, advancing the Super Regionals!

For the first time since the 2010 season, the Alabama baseball team has advanced to Super Regionals of the NCAA Tournament! The Crimson Tide earned its advancement with an 8-0 beatdown of the Boston College Eagles late Sunday night.

Alabama scored four first-inning runs to give the Tide some breathing room and put the game out of reach for the Eagles.

Mac Guscette led the offensive charge for Alabama going 3-4 with four RBIs. Ace pitcher Jacob McNairy was spectacular in his start tossing 7.2 innings and allowing just three hits while striking out 11.

Next up for the Tide are the Super Regionals in Winston Salem where they will take on No. 1 overall seed Wake Forest.
