2025 5-star OT Michael Fasusi provides more details regarding his recruitment

2025 5-star offensive tackle Michael Fasusi details is ongoing recruitment, which includes Texas A&M

The 2025 recruiting class is filled with talent at every position. Still, in my humble opinion, the offensive line class is filled with several stud athletes who have caught the attention of every blue-blood program in the country, including new Texas A&M head coach Mike Elko.

Who am I referencing exactly? That would be 2025 five-star offensive tackle Michael Fasusi, who has been on the Aggie’s radar for over a year and even more so after making his Top 7 program list late last month while recently visiting College Station during A&M’s Maroon & White spring game.

Standing at 6 feet, 4 inches, and nearly 300 pounds, Fasusi is highly versatile. He has experience at both tackle spots. However, due to his quickness and impressive footwork, his future is clearly at left tackle. This week, Fasusi spoke to On3’s Chad Simmons to provide more detail regarding how competitive his recruitment has become:

“There are pros and cons to each school. It is for sure going to be a hard decision.”

For the Aggies, Elko and his staff, led by new offensive line coach Adam Cushing, know the importance of acquiring as much O-line talent as possible to counter the elite pass rushes the SEC deploys year after year.

With Cushing’s recent success on the recruiting trail after three four-star offensive linemen committed to the Aggies in the last two months, Texas A&M looks like a clear finalist for Fasusi’s talents.

2025 5-star OL out of Lewisville (TX) will attend Texas A&M’s Maroon & White spring game

2025 5-star OL Michael Fasusi will reportedly attend the Aggies’ Maroon & White spring game

This weekend, Texas A&M’s annual Maroon & White spring game will take place inside what should be a semi-packed Kyle Field, as new head coach Mike Elko will walk the Aggie sideline for the first time ahead of his inaugural 2024 season.

Outside of the game, another long list of 2025, 2026, and 2027 prospects are set to attend the game, including several commits led by 2025 four-star quarterback Husan Longstreet and four-star offensive lineman Connor Carty, who committed to the program on Thursday.

According to Rivals’ Landon Rosow, 2025 five-star offensive lineman Michael Fasusi, who has now taken several visits to College Station this year, will reportedly return for Saturday’s game just a couple of weeks after announcing his Top 7 program list, which obviously includes Texas A&M.

Standing at 6 feet, 4 inches, and nearly 300 pounds, Fasusi is highly versatile, with experience at both tackle spots. His future is clearly at left tackle due to his quickness and impressive footwork. For the Aggies, Elko and his staff, led by new offensive line coach Adam Cushing, know the importance of acquiring as much O-line talent as possible to counter the elite pass rushes the SEC deploys year after year.

According to Rivals, Fasusi is the 11th-ranked prospect in the 2025 cycle, the third-ranked offensive tackle, and the third-ranked prospect in Texas.

2025 5-Star OL Michael Fasusi has released his top seven

Texas A&M is a finalist to land 2025 five-star offensive lineman Michael Fasusi.

It may be April Fools’ Day for some, but not 2025 five-star offensive lineman Michael Fasusi, who announced his top seven on Monday afternoon. The development comes a day after he finished his second consecutive visit to College Station.

To no one’s surprise, Texas A&M made Fasusi’s list. It joins the Texas Longhorns, USC, Oregon, Oklahoma, Missouri and Georgia. The incoming senior left tackle has several summer visits lined up, including an official visit to A&M in mid-June.

Standing at 6 feet, 4 inches and nearly 300 pounds, Fasusi is highly versatile with experience at both tackle spots. His future is clearly at left tackle due to his quickness and impressive footwork. For the Aggies, new head coach Mike Elko knows the importance of acquiring as much O-line talent as possible to counter the elite pass rushes the SEC deploys year after year.

On the 247Sports composite, Fasusi is the 11th-ranked prospect in the 2025 cycle, the second-ranked offensive tackle and the third-ranked prospect in Texas.

2025 5-Star OL of out Lewisville (TX) has arrived at Texas A&M

2025 5-star OL Michael Fasusi has arrived for his visit to Texas A&M

This weekend, Texas A&M head football coach Mike Elko and his impressive staff are hosting several key 2025 prospects, including five-star offensive lineman Michael Fasusi, who confirmed via X that he has arrived at College Station as of Saturday morning.

While plenty of talent at every position group in the 2025 cycle will be represented on campus, Fasusi is a rare athlete in trenches with immediate starting potential as soon as his first collegiate season. Standing at 6-4 and nearly 300 pounds, Fasusi has experience at both left and right tackle while excelling as a run blocker at the earlier stages of his career.

Playing in a run-heavy offense at Lewisville HS, Fasusi’s pass protection skill set needs work, but his elite athletic traits should speed up that process. This will be his second consecutive visit to Texas A&M since last weekend, while his official visit to CSTAT is scheduled for June 6.

According to 247Sports Composite, Fasusi is currently positioned as the 11th-ranked prospect in the 2025 cycle, the second-ranked offensive tackle, and the third-ranked prospect in Texas. With nearly 40 offers already, it looks as if Fasusi is down to choosing between Texas, Oklahoma, and Texas A&M.
