Report: Oklahoma State commit Billy Walton to visit Texas

Bo Davis hopes to flip the talented pass rusher from Big 12 rival Oklahoma State.

Texas is set to host Oklahoma State commit Billy Walton for an official visit this weekend according to Inside Texas.

Walton is a three-star EDGE rusher in the class of 2023. 247Sports composite ranks him as the No. 50 prospect at his position and a top 100 player in the state of Texas. He has tallied 22 total offers, most notably from Texas, Texas A&M, TCU and Oklahoma State.

The South Oak Cliff product committed to Oklahoma State on April 26 but is still keeping his options open.

Walton has proven himself as one of the best pass rushers in Texas. He totaled 55 tackles, 21 tackles for loss, 12 sacks and two pass breakups on the way to a 16-0 state championship season as a junior.

Texas defensive line coach Bo Davis hopes to flip the talented pass rusher from Big 12 rival Oklahoma State.
