Auburn offers four-star Missouri commit, Brett Norfleet

Auburn is targeting a four-star Missouri commit.

Current 2023 Missouri Tigers commit, Brett Norfleet picked up an offer from the Auburn Tigers on Friday. He is a mountain of a player standing in at 6’7″. It won’t be hard to find him on the field as he stands out.

Norfleet is a two-way player out of Missouri, ESPN ranks him as the No. 5 tight end and No. 5 player in the state. He projects to the offensive side of the ball at the next level.

Auburn could use his abilities as both a big slot, lined up out wide or at the traditional inline tight end spot. Norfleet isn’t one-dimensional either as a tight end. He contributes in the passing game as well as the running game.  A physical blocker that plays through the whistle. It isn’t unheard of for Norfleet to absolutely push his assigned defender 15 yards downfield.

Norfleet committed to play football and baseball for Missouri, it will be an interesting recruitment to watch. Can Auburn swing the momentum to the Plains?

Social media reactions to TE Luke Hasz commitment to Oklahoma

Social media reacts to the commitment of Luke Hasz, giving the Sooners another top target in the 2023 recruiting cycle.

The Oklahoma Sooners are already off to a great start in the 2023 recruiting class. With Malachi Nelson and Treyaun Webb in tow, the Sooners picked up a commitment from the four-star tight end from Bixby, Oklahoma, Luke Hasz.

When Hasz steps on campus in 2023, he’ll join a tight end group that will have the nation wondering if Oklahoma’s the new TE U. With Jason Llewellyn, Kaden Helms and Luke Hasz on the same roster, they may force offensive coordinator Lincoln Riley into more two- and three-tight end sets than he might be used to.

Early in the 2023 recruiting cycle, the Oklahoma Sooners continue to hit home runs at the top of the class. There’s still a year and a half until the early signing period for 2023 recruits, and with the Sooners’ future taking them to the Southeastern Conference, this is shaping up to be the top recruiting class in the country.

With all of the excitement surround Hasz’s commitment, let’s take a look at some of the best reactions on Twitter.

Oklahoma lands the nation’s No. 1 player in the state for 2023

Oklahoma adds to the 2023 class with the state’s top prospect, Luke Hasz of Bixby.

Lincoln Riley and the Oklahoma Sooners just keep racking up the offensive talent. After securing commitments from Treyaun Webb and Malachi Nelson, they now add Luke Hasz of Bixby, Oklahoma.

Hasz is the No. 1 player in the state of Oklahoma for the 2023 class according to 247Sports Composite rankings. Hasz is a four-star composite and No. 55 player overall in the class. Nelson gets another top target to throw to once Caleb Williams moves on to the NFL.

With this commitment, the Sooners have the No. 2 class of 2023. Of course, it is way too early to start counting those chickens. Riley does seem to gain momentum with the ’23  class by the minute. Hasz is a two-way player for Bixby, as well as a basketball player. He has the athletic ability to be the next great tight end to come out of Norman.

In 2020, Hasz caught 32 passes for 703 yards and nine touchdowns.
