WATCH: Texas commit Arch Manning makes a game-winning throw

Arch Manning continues to impress with a game-winning drive.

Texas commit Arch Manning is having a great season. He keeps compiling highlights and accolades as the season unfolds.

On Friday night, a video surfaced of Manning’s game-winning throw for the Isadore Newman Greenies. Manning found the open receiver to give his team the win.

Many have been hypercritical of the young player, claiming his name, not his on-field play, gave him the No. 1 ranking in recruiting. Arch Manning continues to shoot down that conspiracy by producing win after win for his high school team.

Texas fans have to feel good about how Manning will be utilized at Texas. While the Longhorns’ rivals struggle to put competent quarterback play on the field, Quinn Ewers and Hudson Card have thrived.

The Manning family has to feel more confident in Arch’s decision considering Texas’ offensive success. The talented quarterback’s clutch play this season certainly inspires confidence for Texas coaches.

Steve Sarkisian and A.J. Milwee won big to get the rare talent. Manning is a focal point of a great 2023 recruiting class. He is the No. 1 quarterback and No. 1 overall player in the 2023 On3 consensus.

Texas receives On3 prediction for four-star DL Hunter Osborne

In the On3 consensus, he ranks as the No. 12 defensive lineman.

Hunter Osborne may be trending to the Texas Longhorns following Sydir Mitchell’s commitment.

On Sunday, Gerry Hamilton of Inside Texas placed a 60% confidence pick that Osborne would commit to the Longhorns. It appears recruiting momentum has trickled down to the defensive side of the football.

Osborne has been one of the more coveted players for Steve Sarkisian’s staff, but a commit from the four-star talent would be a welcomed surprise. The Alabama product appears to be deciding between Texas, Tennessee, Clemson, and Alabama.

Texas received a commitment from another elite Alabama high school player from Hewitt Trussville High School in the last recruiting cycle. Fellow defensive lineman Justice Finkley chose the Longhorns in their 2022 class.

Osborne would become one of the top players in the class. In the On3 consensus, he ranks as the No. 12 defensive lineman and No. 108 overall player in the nation.

Adding the top pass rusher would bolster Texas’ already talent-laden defensive depth chart.
