And the club has put together quite a few flashy dimes; many of which have led to highlight reel-type plays of other kinds as well.

In order to keep busy while we wait for the first round of the 2023 NBA playoffs to kick off on Saturday, April 15, fan videographer Tomasz Kordylewski has assembled what he believes to be the Celtics’ 10 best plays of the season for your viewing enjoyment.

The Boston Celtics have been doing very well this season in terms of selling merchandise.

The Boston Celtics have been doing very well this season in terms of selling merchandise, which perhaps is to be expected when you are a contending ball club with an MVP candidate and perhaps two All-NBA stars on your roster. Per the league, the Celtics’ team merchandise came in with the third-best sales across the league, behind the Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors and just ahead of the Phoenix Suns.

Individual jersey sales had a strong Boston presence as well. Superstar swingman Jayson Tatum clocked in with the third-best jersey sales in the league for 2022-23 trailing only LeBron James and Stephen Curry. He ranks just ahead of Giannis Atentokounmpo.

Star forward Jaylen Brown also had a solid showing in jersey sales this season, 14th-best in the league behind Joel Embiid and just ahead of Jordan Pool.

The Celtics finished the season in the Eastern Conference’s second-place spot with a 57-25 record that earned them the corresponding seed and won them the Atlantic Division as well. The 41-41 Hawks finished with the East’s seventh seed and then defeated the Miami Heat in the 7-8 play-in game to win the right to face Boston in the first round. The Celtics hold home court advantage in the series and are favored to win it as well.

Over the course of the Boston Celtics 2022-23 NBA regular season, there has been no shortage of dunks from the players on Boston’s roster. Some serious posters have been laid on opposing teams’ star players from October through April.

Now that the 2022-23 NBA regular season is over, fans of the Boston Celtics and other teams that have played well enough to have earned themselves a trip to the 2023 NBA Playoffs (or the play-in tournament that can get them there) turn their attention to the postseason.

And while that will remain the focus for as long as the team one follows remain in the mix to win it all, before we get down that particular sort of business, there are the season-long accolades to consider with several within the Celtics organization who could win some 2023 hardware.
