Syracuse CB Garrett Williams visited Cardinals

The Cardinals had Williams in for a visit. He is coming off a torn ACL but was a three-year starter for Syracuse and a team captain.

The Arizona Cardinals have been connected to a number of cornerbacks in the predraft process. The latest is Syracuse’s Garrett Williams.

According to Aaron Wilson of KPRC-TV in Houston, he has visited a number of teams, including the Cardinals.

He is coming off a torn ACL he suffered last year but is still seen a possibly a Day 2 prospect.

He is 5-foot-10 and 192 pounds. He was selected all-conference twice, a starter for three years and a team captain.

In 28 games over three seasons, he had four interceptions and 21 pass breakups.

The Cardinals have two picks in the third round. He could be a target there or in the fourth round as well.
