Oklahoma lands commitment from No. 1 overall 2021 QB Caleb Williams
According to our colleagues over at Sooners Wire, Oklahoma landed the top quarterback in the country for the second year in a row. After landing Spencer Rattler, they add the talent of Williams.
A Washington D.C. native, Williams is considered the No. 3 overall recruit in the country by Rivals. He has been rated as the No. 1 quarterback in the country for awhile and is the No. 1 player in Washington D.C..
Williams was named the Elite 11 Finals MVP on Wednesday.
He joins presumed 2020 starting quarterback Spencer Rattler as No. 1 overall quarterbacks and Elite 11 Finals MVPs to commit to Riley and Oklahoma. The two will be on campus together in the 2021 season.

4-star cornerback, former Alabama commitment, announces pledge to Big 12 program
It was a big day as the Sooners landed yet another top tier recruit on the 4th of July. Former Alabama commit flipped to Oklahoam per Saturday’s Down South.
Four months after backing off his commitment to Alabama, 4-star cornerback Latrell McCutchin has pledged to a Big 12 program.
The Austin (Texas) LBJ standout announced his commitment to Oklahoma on Saturday. The news won’t come as a huge surprise to Crimson Tide fans. McCutchin was on a unofficial visit to OU when he backed off his pledge to Alabama on March 1. During his time as an uncommitted prospect, he received offers from Florida State, Minnesota, Kansas State, Memphis, Southern Cal and Texas A&M. McCutchin also had prior offers from Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Missouri, Ole Miss and Tennessee.
