Stock up, down after Giants’ 41-35 victory over Redskins

Whose stock is up and whose is down following the New York Giants’ victory over the Washington Redskins in Week 16?

Stock up: Saquon Barkley

In the first quarter alone, Barkley had already gone over 100 yards rushing for the Giants within his first four carries, which meant the Redskins were in for a long day trying to stop him.

Barkley finished the game with 22 carries with 189 yards and a touchdown. Barkley also had four catches for 90 yards and a touchdown.

Barkley is now 89 yards away from attaining 1,000 rushing yards for the second year in a row, which given how well he’s been playing over the last few weeks, seems like a very attainable task next week against the Eagles.

Stock down: Aldrick Rosas

While Rosas was 5-for-5 in extra points, he missed another field goal on Sunday in a season where the kicker has been extremely inconsistent and makes people question whether he can be the long-term answer for the team.

Rosas miss was from 53 yards and it was the second straight game where he missed a kick, having missed an extra point the week before against the Miami Dolphins.

Rosas’ misses are becoming a common theme this season, as his percentage is under 70 percent for the season.
