On Thursday, the Golden State Warriors will be one of 14 teams set to participate in the 2020 NBA Draft Lottery as the league will conduct it virtually for the first time.

The Warriors are one of three teams, along with the Cleveland Cavaliers and Minnesota Timberwolves, that has a 14% chance of landing the No. 1 overall pick. The teams posted the three worst records in the NBA prior to the season suspension in March.

To maximize their chances of winning, the Warriors chose two-time NBA MVP Stephen Curry to serve as their representative for the festivities. Curry will also be joined by Warriors owner Joe Lacob’s dog Larry on the virtual presentation.

Warriors president of basketball operations Bob Myers on Monday spoke with the media ahead of the NBA Draft Lottery and said Curry has a big responsibility as the team’s representative, according to Nick Friedell of ESPN.

The Warriors haven’t selected in the lottery in five years after making several deep playoff runs during that time frame. The team dealt with injuries throughout the season and will add a high pick to the already talented roster, featuring Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green among others.

The NBA Draft Lottery is set to begin at 8:30 p.m. ET on ESPN.
