We all know how adept Oregon Ducks head coach Dana Altman is when it comes to finding players in the transfer portal. It looks like he might have set his eyes on a new target.

On Thursday morning, former South Carolina Gamecock guard Devin Carter released his top-6 schools after entering the transfer portal, listing the Ducks as one of the finalists. The other teams mentioned were the UNLV Rebels, LSU Tigers, Providence Friars, UCONN Huskies, and Arkansas Razorbacks.

Carter, who stands at 6-foot-3, 188 pounds, played for one season with South Carolina, where he averaged 9 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 assists in 30 games. He also shot 42% from the field.

We don’t yet know which players are going to be returning for the Ducks in 2022, but there’s a good chance that they have some transfers joining the incoming recruiting class as new players on the roster.
