This season hasn’t exactly gone according to plan for Javon Antonio.
After making a considerable amount of noise in Colorado’s fall camp, the JUCO transfer suffered a shoulder injury that forced him to miss time early in the year. Antonio came into Saturday’s game against Arizona State with only three catches on the season.
His fourth, however, was by far his biggest.
With the Buffs down 17-14 early in the fourth quarter, quarterback Shedeur Sanders hit Antonio on a crossing route near ASU’s 2-yard line and the massive receiver had little trouble entering the end zone.
