Tuesday’s contest was Tennessee’s sixth consecutive victory over the Gators in Knoxville.
Dalton Knecht scored a career-high 39 points, including 22 in the first half, for the Vols. He also recorded his second consecutive 30-point game and third overall.
Knecht converted 13-of-23 field goal attempts, 4-of-6 three-point attempts and 9-of-9 free throw attempts against the Gators. He also recorded eight rebounds and one assist in 32 minutes.
