It was a late night for Texas Longhorns fans.

The Greenville Super Regional between No. 9 Texas and No. 8 East Carolina had plenty of dramatics over the course of three days.

The game was slated to begin at 3 p.m. CT, but due to several weather delays the game continued into early hours of Monday morning. A little after midnight, the Longhorns officially punched their 38th ticket to the College World Series with an 11-1 win over the Pirates.
