While he is certainly not Ben Simmons, the Philadelphia 76ers will finally have the services of an important bench piece on Sunday when they take on the Portland Trail Blazers.
After missing the first four games of the restart in Orlando, Glenn Robinson III will finally suit up for the Sixers. He suffered a left hip pointer injury against the Oklahoma City Thunder in the second scrimmage game and he has not played since.
Obviously, he does not have the same impact as a guy like Simmons, but he had a strong couple of scrimmage games and he does provide the team with some depth. On top of that, he was really beginning to understand his role before this unfortunate injury.

This will also give Robinson III to make a push to be in coach Brett Brown’s rotation for the playoffs. Philadelphia has four seeding games left including on Sunday and he will be battling with Furkan Korkmaz, Matisse Thybulle, and others for playing time. [lawrence-related id=36570,36558,36542]
