Every year, NBA teams release an updated version of their City Edition jersey. For the 2023-24 season, the Philadelphia 76ers will have a new jersey design that pays homage to Reading Terminal Market, Philadelphia’s famous indoor farmers’ market. The Sixers will likely wear their City Edition jersey once or twice during the season.
Generally, these releases are limited editions. With the design changing yearly, fans have to quickly acquire their memorabilia before they’re removed from shelves and become collectibles that are only available on the resale market. The Sixers’ new design follows a recent theme of “The City of Brotherly Love.”

The Sixers will enter the new season with numerous questions hanging over their heads. However, there is continuity within the roster and an exceptionally gifted head coach, Nick Nurse. With potential pitfalls ahead, the Sixers will need to embody the brotherly love that is on their jersey.
