Sixers anxious to see an opponent rather than the same faces in practice

The Philadelphia 76ers are anxious to get the season going and see an opponent rather than just the same faces in practice.

CAMDEN, N.J.–The Philadelphia 76ers are finally getting ready to begin the 2022-23 season on Tuesday when they hit the road to take on the Boston Celtics. All of the work they’ve put in over the summer plus the work they’ve put in since the start of training camp will come to fruition on Tuesday.

The team convened for one final practice before the opener on Monday at their facility in Camden, NJ, and they were looking to get everybody on the same page. That means making sure James Harden and Joel Embiid are in sync on the pick-and-roll and making sure the supporting cast understands their roles.

With that being said, that one final practice didn’t help much as the Sixers are anxious to get it all done and face an actual opponent other than themselves.
