Simone Biles was overjoyed that her husband Jonathan Owens scored a Packers TD on Thanksgiving

Packers fan Simone Biles had a lot to be thankful for on Thanksgiving.

In between her dominance as the greatest gymnast ever, Simone Biles occasionally spends her time rooting for the Green Bay Packers. A Columbus, Ohio native, Biles became a Packers fan expressly because the team signed her husband, safety Jonathan Owens, for the 2023 season. (Note: Biles was the one to make the announcement for Owens.)

That meant Biles had an extra special motivation for Green Bay’s matchup with the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving. Early on, the Packers got the quick jump on Detroit to the tune of a 14-6 lead. But then a Jared Goff fumble from the shadow of the Lions’ end zone led to an Owens recovery, who took it back for a defensive touchdown in what started to resemble a laugher:

Naturally, Biles was over the moon seeing her husband score in front of the entire country watching at home on a holiday:

Good for this lovely couple to have such a great moment to celebrate on Thanksgiving.
