The support for Simone Biles continues to pour in from everywhere, as it should, especially after she came back to win bronze on the balance beam in Tokyo.
That now includes Taylor Swift.
The singer/songwriter narrated an NBC video about Biles ahead of their broadcast of her incredible performance on Tuesday night, and Biles tweeted that she was crying. She sent love Swift’s way.
Swift responded some 20 minutes later, telling Biles, “I feel so lucky to have gotten to watch you all these years, but this week was a lesson in emotional intelligence and resilience. We all learned from you.”
Wonderful all around.
Her voice has been as significant as her talents.
Her honesty as beautiful as the perfection that has long been her signature.@taylorswift13 gets us ready to watch @simone_biles on the beam.
