It’s the start of the early signing period in college football and Ohio State got its first official national letter of intent from 4-star cornerback Jyaire Brown Wednesday morning.
At 6-foot, 180-pounds, Brown is considered a top 20 lockdown corner in the 2022 recruiting cycle and has all the skills to become another high-level defensive back for Ohio State. He is physical and has great instincts in breaking on the ball with speed and quickness. He has all the tools to continue to develop.
Born in Ohio, Brown moved to Louisiana and became a high-riser as he continued his play in high school. He committed to Ohio State back in April of 2020. There were some rumblings about his interest in other schools like Notre Dame after he committed, but OSU is happy to keep him in the fold for the 2022 class.
Welcome to the Brotherhood, @jyairebrown13 ‼️
