As the new commander of the huddle in 2020 for Oklahoma, redshirt freshman Spencer Rattler impressed with his dynamic ability. He is the first quarterback with the Sooners that Lincoln Riley has been able to develop with Baker Mayfield, Kyler Murray, and Jalen Hurts all transferring to the Crimson and Cream.
Rattler encompasses both stellar arm-talent and elusive mobility that wowed throughout the past season. No.7 is still a young player but one that is already projected to become a Heisman finalist. The Pinnacle High product’s unconventional throws on the move and improvisation skills are qualities that embody a star. He stepped on the field with exceptional confidence and poise to lead the Sooners week-after-week.
