Many believe the New York Giants got a steal when they selected Jalin Hyatt in the third round of the 2023 NFL draft. The Tennessee product has the speed to be a game-changer for Big Blue immediately.
The Giants’ newest pass-catcher attended the 2023 NFLPA Rookie Premiere and received a surprise message from the team’s 2014 first-round pick, Odell Beckham Jr.
Here's a pre-season pep talk from the Rookie Premiere that these @NFL rookies will never forget #FanaticsLockerRoom

“Don’t break all my records on the rookie year,” Beckham Jr. said. “Save me a few things, man.”
Beckham owns a number of rookie franchise records including receiving yards and receptions.
Certainly, the Giants’ offense this season will be a balanced attack in regard to passing and rushing. Speaking solely on the passing game, the Giants are likely to feature a ton of different weapons between Hyatt, Darren Waller, Isaiah Hodgins, Wan’Dale Robinson, Paris Campbell, Daniel Bellinger and more.
Hyatt is a big believer in his ability to get open and recently received high praise from former All-Pro receiver Chad Johnson.
The Giants will not have to lean on Hyatt heavily during his rookie year with the depth at the wide receiver position but if he is anything close to the rookie Beckham was, it would mean huge things for the offense.
