See it: Giants’ Daniel Jones goes ‘undercover’ at Hugo Boss store

New York Giants QB Daniel Jones recently went “undercover” at the American Dream Mall and his exchange with an Eagles fan was hilarious.

Would New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones be mobbed by fans if he randomly showed up inside the American Dream Mall directly across from MetLife Stadium?

The answer, as it turns out, is “no.”

During a recent collaboration, Jones went undercover at Hugo Boss and we use the term “undercover” lightly. DJ didn’t even attempt to hide his identity and went largely unnoticed.

Ironically, one of the few people who did recognize Jones was a Philadelphia Eagles fan and their exchange was hilarious.

“Eagles,” the fan said when Jones asked who he pulls for.

“Eagles? Man, come on,” Jones said before encouraging the fan to buy some Giants gear.

“So, no on the shirts? Y’all don’t need any Giants gear?” Jones asked.

“You know, my parents wouldn’t be too happy,” the Eagles fan replied.

“I’m sure you’ve disappointed your parents before,” Jones quipped. “It’ll be all right.”

Some will say this is Jones coming out of his shell but much like Eli Manning before him, this is merely a rare insight into who he is away from the cameras. His teammates would attest that he’s an engaging, funny guy.
