Seahawks sign defensive tackle Myles Adams to future contract

The Seattle Seahawks signed defensive tackle Myles Adams to their practice squad, increasing the number of future contract signees to 13.

The Seattle Seahawks signed defensive tackle Myles Adams to a future contract, bringing the total of future contract signees for 2021 to 13 along with John Ursua.

Adams does not possess much of an NFL resume and has not played a single professional snap. He went undrafted out of Rice University and spent only a few weeks on the Panthers’ practice squad before his release ahead of the start of the 2020 season. He later spent most of December on Seattle’s practice squad and met the same fate as before, leaving him to remain unsigned until now.

With no professional experience, Adams will need reps if the Seahawks expect him to make the roster for next season, let alone contribute. This will be a long offseason for Seattle, and the Seahawks must do everything they can to rectify their issues if they wish to contend for a Super Bowl title.
