Seahawks QB Geno Smith wins NFC Offensive Player of the Week

For his efforts, Smith has been named the NFC Offensive Player of the Week.

Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith had the best game of his NFL career on Sunday, roasting the Lions for 320 yards and three total touchdowns in a 48-45 win.

For his efforts, Smith has been named the NFC Offensive Player of the Week.

Smith is in his 10th year in the league and this is his second weekly award. He was also named AFC Offensive Player of the Week when he was playing for the Jets in Week 5 of the 2013 season.

For the season, Smith is up to 1,037 passing yards, six touchdowns, two interceptions and a career high QBR of 72.4. He’s added another 64 yards and a score as a rusher. Smith is now ranked No. 1 at his position according to Pro Football Focus.
